i’ve actually met many ninjago fans in real life the problem is that they don’t know anything about the show outside of what they remember from watching it in 2012 so our appreciation of the show is fundamentally different. one common thing all these so-called fans tell me is that they “hate jay” because he’s “annoying”. this seems to be the only thing theyve retained after more than a decade of not engaging with the show. i can’t be friends with any of you
