so. i just realized.  while i’ve been off... life-ing, i missed danny’s birthday. it was supposed to be the twelfth.

so i am in fact not dead.  shocking, i know.  i do however come with news.  after may 18th i’ll know for sure whether i’m going to be able to graduate on time or not, at which point i’ll be finished with my four online courses and will actually have time and  hopefully  energy to be here.  so, here’s the plan.

in all truthfulness, this is not something danny thinks about a lot  ( read: ever ).  magic has been  ‘ it ’  for him for years now and the knowledge that that will one day have to change does not sit well with him.

before the horsemen, if he’s brutally and totally honest with himself, he doesn’t see his future looking all that different from merritt’s life, doing street shows and hoping that a name reminder of former glory keeps enough people interested to keep food on the table and the lights on. It’s for this reason he’s actually pretty damn meticulous about saving.

once he’s joined the horsemen though, he can’t help but to set his sights higher.  after receiving the confirmation that the organization is, in fact, real, he can’t help but to want to be a part of its leadership, even after the humbling experience of macau.
