With one of the world’s most famous heartthrobs as a brother, stardom is certainly in Gemma Styles’ blood.

And now, One Direction Harry’s big sister has made her foray into the showbiz world - with a cool new beauty shoot and, as she tells FEMAIL, this is just the start of what’s set to be a stellar career for the bright young thing.

The 23-year-old showcases her edgy sartorial credentials as she rocks sequin embellished eye make-up and glitter adorned hair in her fun new shoot for Fudge Urban.

‘For me that’s not showing too much flesh and wearing mostly monochrome. I like changing my hair colour so working in black and white is a lot easier than suddenly clashing with half your clothes.‘Gemma, who has 2.5m Instagram followers, shot to global fame when her little brother shared a snap of her graduating on his social media feed.

Proving she is both beauty and brains, Gemma received a First Class Honors Degree at Sheffield Hallam University and is now pursuing a career as a writer and will be working creatively with beauty brands.

She is extremely close to her brother and often joins him and the One Direction boys on tour.

Harry has two tattoos dedicated to her big sister; an iced gem, which was her nickname as a youngster, as well as a 'G’ etched on his arm.

Whilst she won’t be following in her brother’s footsteps musically, the future certainly looks bright for Gemma.

Discussing her burgeoning career, she said: 'I’m working as a freelance writer for magazines and online, as well as being Content Editor for a new women’s site called La Femme Collective, which I’m helping a friend to launch soon.

'It’s a bit of a change from working 9-5 but does mean I’ve got more time to do other fun creative stuff like this with Fudge Urban.

'I’ve been writing about different things recently, lifestyle, music, technology - so hopefully in five years’ time I’ll have found a good balance in what I’m doing.
