Hilarious and fun things my nieces (4 and 7) said/did this week:
I teach them summer school during the week when they have no activities. They are emerging neurodivergents and they like music played in the background while they work. What do I put on? Music from Final Fantasy - Distant Worlds.

3. Opening - Bombing Mission: "HEY this is the part where Cloud blows stuff up!" "Yeah! On the train!" (they asked to replay this 1000x)
They went with me to the Crane Center (trans surgery) to get my drains taken out for my abdominoplasty. As they waited, they read The Pronoun Book, and fought over the free peach and taco keychains given away in the lobby. (They were so happy and gave me big hugs, and made up a "Cici's feeling beeeeetter πΆ" song π₯Ή)
The 4 y/o: *points at the trans-bipoc flag* HEY IT'S CICI'S FLAG
On the way home, I showed them a picture of what Cloud looked like in 1997 and they spent the rest of the ride roasting the hell out of him
A few hours later during screen-free playtime, while I was laying down, they were pretending they had drains. β οΈ
When they were settling for a nap, I heard them just bust out with "STICK TO MEEEEEE STICK TO ME LIKE CYA-RA-ME-E-ELLLL"
Bonus: the little one has a problem with hitting. Trying to nip that in the bud. I said "HEY [kiddo] HITTING IS A CRIME. IT'S CALLED ASSAULT. ONLY CRIMINALS DO THAT. ARE YOU A CRIMINAL?"
