Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are

Trauma - same reason as above

Triggers - people can use these against you! Don't give people tools to hurt you. No one has to know what tags you block. Just block tags to stay safe!

Age - age is okay for adults to include but is iffy when you're a teen. Predators want this information, don't give people more than they need. Just state that you're a minor, that's all that anyone needs to know.

In general: stay safe. If you're not comfortable with every stranger out there having access to this information, you shouldn't post it on the internet.

The golden rule of information sharing on the internet is: What would happen if someone saw this who wanted to hurt me?

And also: Why tell people you are a minor? It will not keep you safer. It makes you a target for predators - you've now told them that you do NOT have experience identifying them, and you probably don't have friends who know how to spot the red flags in a "friendly" DM.

Years ago, chatrooms were full of creeps whose first question in private chat was always "A/S/L" - age/sex/location.

it's tricky when you're surrounded by people who don't understand it and media that actively suggests I'm making the wrong choice by wanting to stay this way. and real people who suggest the same. I've been left by romantic partners for not making the decision to do a terrifying, risky, and poorly researched procedure to integrate myself and the others in my system despite my life being good as it is.

and the experiences that are both absolutely irrefutably real WHILE ALSO being terrifyingly hard to interpret or "prove" (despite. you know. having ZERO other explanation and being totally out of my control). there's a lot! there's a lot to manage!! despite how much I love my life and adore my crew!

all that to say. I know I talk a LOT about the positives of being part of a system on my blog! the optimism is INCREDIBLY important to me. it's the fire of high spirits that keeps me and the rest of my crew full of determination even when it gets dire. but I reckon it's also important to recognise that even seven or eight years into Knowing what my deal is, I still struggle!!! we all still struggle!

In Jurassic Park, one of the scenes that I believe impacted my life in a way I couldn't imagine then was when Dr. Alan Grant saw the Brachiosaurus for the first time.

Sam Neill's performance there, capture the amazement I had seeing that seemingly living, breathing dinosaur for the first time.

I can't imagine the amount of people who'm Sam Neill has inspired among his many roles.
