I’m sure you’ve all heard this expression a hundred times probably …as have I. I’d been wondering for a while how it could be that we created our own reality (through and with the help of LOA) but at the same time we were so often told that there was a reason behind everything …almost as if there was this certain path you needed to walk or a series of events you needed to experience … like everything had been decided/planned already. And how was this happening if we created our own reality? I used to wonder a lot about it, get frustrated, and even disagree/argue with people, and tell them ‘this is not true, there is no reason behind anything, I’ve just attracted a certain experience in my life’. But I was thinking yet again tonight about it and may have come to a final conclusion/explanation.

The way I see it … there are two possible reasons for something to be happening to you - to make you cultivate gratitude or to deliver clarity in your life through the means of contrast. By this I mean… an unpleasant experience has occurred and it doesn’t make you feel good - it creates a contrast, this gives you clarity about what you want and how you want to feel. Contrary to this, if you experience something pleasant, you cultivate gratitude and attract more of it in your life.
