I think I’m crying

If it is meant for you, it will cross oceans, distances, and doubts to reach you.

You really do get over it on a random day.

I’m exhausted from trying to be okay.

I think everyone loses themselves differently. Some start saying “it’s okay” even when it’s not. Some learn to smile smaller, laugh quieter so their joy won’t draw questions they can’t answer . Some stop talking about what they love, because no one listens the way they used to. Some delete the words that once carried their hearts, like trying to forget that they ever felt too deeply and some… they just fade a little each morning, telling themselves it’s what adults do, when really, it’s just another way of forgetting how to feel alive.

There’s always that one night when something inside me quietly breaks no sound, no reason, just a weight deep in my chest that words can’t reach. And in that silence, all I wish for is to fade away for a while, to disappear from everything and finally rest from feeling too much.
