its been a long time since i died last. its a strange feeling watching the wretched shell of the girl i was less than a week ago rot and burn under the weight of my new wings. have i always changed my name shortly before rebirth? its odd. i hope she sleeps well, i will carry her burdens now. i feel feel the anger and the hate she never let herself. i will grow out of the cage she put herself in out of fear. and if the cosmos will it, i will slit the throats of everyone who hurt her so badly. she followed them with the knives still between her ribs and left a years long trail of blood behind her. she didnt deserve that. i will carry that torch. i will bury her ashes in the depths of my heart alongside all the sisters that fell before her. and i alone remain, not because i am stronger or better but because i am different and i am next. i hope the girl who comes after me will carry my burdens as well.
