I could not find any proper dialogue between the two, but i swear There's a version where they are described having dinner together the night before the war started

There's too much gap in this version of Mahabharata (again, I know this version is basically a fanfiction that later widely spread and gaining popularity. Idk how they managed to do that)

*edit: Oral tradition... right...I will still call some stuff a thousand years old fanfiction

But they change the most important part : Kunti's Secret

That the fact Arjuna and Karna know the truth before everything else- Kudos!, cheff kiss!, i want to hug whoever made that part.

(Still pretty dissapointed there is no existential crisis involved between the two)

There's part where Karna tell Khrisna about why he didn't want to switch side "Aside from my Khsatriya duty, I need to encourage Duryodana and ensure the war keep going

I believe that the pandavas will manage to win this war, To erase the malice along with Duryodana from this world, I know i will die in this war...purge me, erase me, along with the adharma in this world"

(this version of karna believe: No Duryodana= No evil)

(That's some, dramatic translation, Kudos to myself, i guess)

But yeah he said that, He also said the same thing to Kunti, with additional "It's my duty as the eldest"

(Hey, hey you can't just say that !!, gaps after gaps in your story and now you basically said: i will do everything for my younger brothers)

(Not just Arjuna, but the pandavas)

There's Described that the author namely I kontol (can translated as I penis or I (male) penis)

After getting ill and can't get up from bed for 6 days, reading a news paper about the Russo-japanese war at the time (and stack of unfinished poetry in his room) he said that god gave him such inspiration to write (An erotic texts) despite the fact he's sick

The protagonist from this story named I Pasta and I Baga (Kawi words for Penis and Vagina)

The poetry at first look like a normal stories about war between the Russian and Japanese armies, with description of torpedo, bullets, granates

Then in the middle of the poetry The protagonist make their appearance I Pasta (fighting for the Russian) and I Baga (fighting for the Japanese)

They described as both equal in power and beauty

However their fight actually just a really blatant description of two people having the S word

(I am not sure about the usage of the Pasta and Baga as a name, Either that means they are top and bottom, Man and woman or both are futanari...)

There is 1: The version that following the Canon, the original text

Retelling Indra disguised himself, Karna cutting his own armor, Yep

And there is 2: A version where Arjuna need the vasavi shakti to cut gatotkaca umbilical cord (yep)

There's Described that the baby was so strong, that no weapon can cut his umbilical cord

Arjuna being a good brother he is, later gone on an adventure to seek vasavi shakti to help bheema with this problem (i don't know how to cut an umbilical cord with a spear, but okay, okay)

So Arjuna meditate somewhere, Karna was there too, don't worry about it -because he also want to obtain a powerful weapon by any means-cough

In this story the vasavi shakti was given by Bhatara Guru (Another name for Lord Shiva) rather than Lord Indra; That weapon later being send by Narada muni personally

Seeing that, Karna asked his father to make the sky look gloomy

Narada muni seeing Karna along the way later give him the vasavi shakti, mistaken the King of Anga as the third pandava because of the bad lighting (also because Karna claiming to be Arjuna LMAO)

Of course they fight AGAIN, but i will add the detail later

Honestly searching for the detailed version of this story is so hard, i want to do a somersault

The fight went whaam, baam and whatever inbetween.

finally Karna got the vasavi shakti and Arjuna got the SHEATH of the vasavi shakti

But it was still strong enough to cut gatotkaca umbilical cord at the end so problem solved

(I don't know how both of them are fine with it. this story in my opinion rarely explore the psycological aspect or something like that)

(I have a lot of question about what they did behind the screen literally)

As far as i know there is intent/purpose behind every character design, pararel, relationship Mirrors, twins whatever

I know that Khrisna and Arjuna both described as dark skinned

Yet Arjuna...his wayang counterpart is colored in ivory yellow/white

(Okay...his name literally means bright, silver, clear)

But to build the narrative saying that they (Karna-Arjuna) really look alike even gods didn't know their difference ... clearly is something (it's an unique take, okay get it)

SOMETHING THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND!

WHAT WAS THE INTENT? THE PURPOSE?

CAN'T FIND ANY PAPER THAT DISSECT THIS- THIS SPECIFIC CHARACTER DESIGN

*just make the weather a bit cloudy and gods don't know their difference (laughing at my own joke)*

*Also i read somewhere, long time ago; when you make a character that supposed to be a pararels, you make one character first then you make their mirror, their opposite

There's a version where Arjuna was jeaolous after karna won a svayamvar and later steal karna's wife then running away with her

because karna's wife can't tell the difference between the two; she agreed.

later on Karna found them and take a guess folks...

Karna and Arjuna...They fight along the way (don't ask me how they managed to reconcile)

Also a version where Karna steal Duryodana's wife (because they loved each other) and Arjuna caught him red handed

They fight (sigh) (I vaguely remember that Karna cuts Arjuna's forehead pretty deep, so the situation is getting dire)

And because of that Narada muni came down and tell them the truth about karna birth and how they are actually brothers

I can't find any adaptation, paper or anything explaining their feelings/ relationship after that sudden truth nuke (Karna is still on the kaurava side until the end, don't worry)

Will keep digging on the internet tho-

(it's pretty funny considering how they use their likeness to lie instead of asking Kunti the billion dollar question or sing that song from Barbie princess and the pauper)
