A look of surprise briefly flashed over Yuiâs features before she simply hummed a noise of understanding and nodded her head. Truthfully, she didnât know many people who didnât drink, but it was definitely not unusual. She could tell how uncomfortable he was by his tone, so she tried her best to move the conversation along.  âAh! Iâm sorry for assuming,â She replied, offering him an apologetic look, âThat was  rude of me, but if you arenât comfortable it wouldnât be rude to leave? Im sure the host wouldnât mind and you would probably feel a lot better.â His obvious discomfort was starting to make her uncomfortable as well. There really was no reason for him to feel as if he was obligated to stay. â Iâll even walk out with you if youâd like?â
He swirled the remaining cola in his cup before bringing it up to his mouth to drink it. Heâd probably made the wrong decision by staying. The woman was probably just being nice about telling him he really needed to get out. With a soft smile he put the cup into the trashcan and then stood up.. He could leave. âI can leave.â He told her, nodding his head slowly. All he had to do was let her know that heâd gotten the hint and then it would all be solved. âPlease tell the host that it was a lovely evening.â
