Sheâs a teacher and she flirts, youâre the librarian and you blush!
nayeon, mina, momo, tzuyu and chaeyoung are kids in this! jeongyeon is the integration aide, jihyo is the principal, dahyun is the nurse!
"Miss Sunshine! Miss Sunshine! How was your weekend? How are the baby bunnies in your backyard? Are they okay? Are they eating? Are they getting bigger?"
You smile at the excited little voice that bursts into the library. Without even looking up from the books you're shelving, you know it's Nayeonâand that Sana's class must be right behind her.
"Miss Sunshine!!"
The kids started calling you that all thanks to Sana, who canât seem to stop flirting with you. She always calls you "Sunshine" whenever she sees you, whether itâs in the hallways, the teachers' lounge, or the library. It didnât take long for the kids to catch on and make it their own, and now her entire class knows you by that name.
Sanaâs playful grin from across the room never fails to make you blush, though you try your best to act unfazed. She leans casually against the doorframe, watching you, waiting for your reaction.
"Hey, Sunshine," she calls softly, just loud enough for you to hear but too quiet for anyone else to catch.
You shoot her a quick glance before going back to placing books on the shelves, doing your best to ignore her teasing.
âMiss Sunshineeeee, the bunnies!â Nayeon whines, huffing dramatically as her tiny hands reach up to tug at your shirt.
You canât help but smile. Leaning down to her level, Nayeonâs face lights up, her two front teeth proudly on display, and her tongue slipping over the gap where sheâs lost a canine. Itâs a bit of a mess to look at, but sheâs so full of joy that itâs endearing.
âTheyâre doing very well, Nayeon,â you say, grinning at her excitement. âThe babies have opened their eyes!â
Nayeon squeals with delight, immediately running over to Momo and wrapping her in a tight hug before tugging at Minaâs arm. Giggling, she excitedly shares the good news about the baby bunnies with her friends.
You chuckle softly, watching the scene unfold. Momo yawns and sighs, her bangs so long they nearly cover her eyes, while Mina listens intently, smiling shyly and nodding as Nayeon chatters away. The contrast between them makes you grinâMomo, always a bit disheveled and sleepy, and Mina, ever so quiet and attentive.
As you shelve the last book, you notice Sana approaching with her signature confidence. She clears her throat, a playful smile on her lips.
âI was thinking,â she starts, leaning casually against the shelf, âhow about we grab a quick coffee in the lounge?â
You roll your eyes, smiling despite yourself. âSana, you have a class to take care of,â you remind her, glancing over at the group of students scattered around the library.
She leans in a little closer, her voice dropping to a soft murmur. âTheyâll survive without me for a few minutes. Plus, I could use a little sunshine to brighten my day.â
You bite back a grin, trying not to give her the satisfaction. âYouâve got an entire class of kids depending on you, Sana,â you repeat, your voice light but firm.
She tilts her head, her eyes locking onto yours with a playful gleam. âYeah, but none of them are as cute as you.â
You try to suppress a smile, knowing sheâs pushing all the right buttons. âYouâre going to get in trouble, Miss Minatozaki.â
She shrugs, unfazed. âWhatâs a little trouble when I get to be with you? Weâll keep the library door open, and I promise weâll be quick. If anything comes up, Iâll be right back.â
This girlâŠ
"Fine."
Sanaâs face brightens, and she grabs your hand, pulling you toward the lounge. But just before you exit the library, she pauses and turns back to the group of kids still scattered around.
âHey, everyone!â she calls out, her voice warm and bright. âIâm just stepping out for a quick coffee. You all behave while Iâm gone, okay?â
A few kids look up, and Chaeyoung, with her braces gleaming, raises her hand. âMiss Minatozaki, can we come too?â Her lisp makes the question even more adorable.
She kneels down, her expression softening. âOh, Chaeyoung, Iâd love that! But I need you all to stay here for a few minutes.â
Chaeyoung pouts for a moment but then brightens. âOkay! But weâll miss you!â
Sana smiles, her eyes shining with affection. âIâll miss you too! Just make sure to help each other out while Iâm gone, alright? If you all do a good job, Iâll have a surprise for you later!â
âWhat kind of surprise, Miss Minatozaki?â Many little voices all chime in together.
âAh, thatâs a secret! But if I come back and everythingâs gone smoothly, Iâll share it with you,â she giggles, standing up and reaching for your hand again.
Their eyes widen in delight. âOkay! Weâll be super good!â
âI know you will! Just keep an eye on each other, alright? Iâll be back before you know it!â
With that, she leads you out of the library and into the hallway. The sounds of the school fade behind you as the two of you make your way to the staff lounge. Itâs quiet when you arrive, the room empty, other than the faint sound of the coffee machine humming in the corner.
Sana moves to the counter with a practiced ease, immediately grabbing two cups. âCaramel macchiato for you, right?â she asks, so familiar.
You blink, surprised. âYou know my order?â
She gives you a sideways smile, half-shy, half-playful. âYou think I havenât been paying attention?â
âI didnât think you noticed the small stuff.â
âI notice everything,â she replies, her eyes flicking to yours before lingering just a little too long. Thereâs something different in her gaze. Itâs soft, but with an intensity that makes you shift on your feet.
Sana steps a little closer, the warmth of her body just barely brushing yours. âYou know,â she murmurs, her voice lower now, âyouâre not as unreadable as you think.â
You blink, caught off guard by the sudden shift. âWhat do you mean?â
She tilts her head, a teasing smile curling her lips. âI mean, Iâve been watching you. The way you bite your lip when youâre trying to act all composed, the way your eyes flicker when you think Iâm pushing a little too far.â
Your pulse quickens, and you canât quite find the words to respond. Sana notices your hesitation, her grin widening. She takes another step, close enough now that the scent of her perfumeâlight and sweetâfills the air between you.
âAnd the way youâre looking at me right now,â she continues, her voice barely above a whisper, âlike youâre trying so hard to keep that guard up.â
Your breath catches in your throat as her eyes trace your face, lingering on your lips for a fraction of a second. She leans in, her voice a soft, teasing purr. âYou donât have to pretend around me, you know.â
âIâm not pretending,â you manage to say, though it comes out weaker than youâd intended.
Sana raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. âOh really? Then whatâs stopping you?â
The fact that you flirt with everyone and Iâm probably not that special to you.
You open your mouth to answer, but sheâs already leaning closer, her breath ghosting against your skin as she speaks again. âYou know, I could make it easier for you. If youâd just⊠let me.â
The room feels warmer. Her fingers brush against yours as she hands you your coffee, her touch lingering, her gaze never wavering from yours. The way sheâs looking at you, like sheâs daring you to say or do something, makes your heart race.
âIâŠâ You trail off, unsure of how to respond, your mind racing to catch up with whatâs happening.
Sana smirks, clearly enjoying your reaction. âSee? Youâre cute when youâre flustered.â
Youâre about to respondâtry to salvage whatâs left of your composureâbut the words are stuck in your throat. The way sheâs looking at you, her proximity, the heat of the momentâitâs all too much. Just when you think you might actually combust from the tension between you, the door to the lounge bursts open.
Jihyo storms in, her face etched with frustration, dragging a pale-looking Tzuyu behind her. âSana!â Jihyoâs voice is sharp, and it immediately cuts through the air between you two.
Both you and Sana jerk back, the flirty atmosphere shattered in an instant. Sana straightens up, blinking as if sheâs just been snapped out of a trance. âJihyo?â she stammers, clearly caught off guard.
âWhere the hell were you?â Jihyo demands, her eyes flashing with anger. âYour class has been unsupervised for who knows how long! Tzuyu was sick, and no one was there to help her.â
Tzuyu, standing beside Jihyo, looks unsteady, her skin pale and clammy. She weakly lifts a hand to wave, her voice quivering. âI threw upâŠâ
Sanaâs face pales instantly, guilt flooding her features. She rushes forward, concern replacing the flirtatious edge she had moments ago. âTzuyu, oh my god, are you okay?â She kneels down to Tzuyuâs level, eyes scanning her worriedly.
Tzuyu nods feebly but doesnât look well. Jihyo crosses her arms, her expression still stormy. âSana, you canât just leave your class unsupervised! What if something worse had happened?â
Sana glances back at you, guilt written all over her face. Her confident, teasing demeanor is completely gone now, replaced by genuine worry. âIâm sorry, Jihyo. IâI didnât think⊠Iâll take care of this right away.â
Without another word, she turns back to Tzuyu, gently guiding her towards the door. âCome on, letâs get you to the nurse.â
As they leave, Jihyo gives you a hard stare, her disappointment clear. âYou too. This isnât a playground. Donât let her drag you into this next time.â
You nod, feeling a knot of guilt tighten in your chest as you watch them walk out, the lounge suddenly feeling a lot colder and emptier than before.
~~~
At the nurseâs office, Sana sits on the edge of the desk, watching as Dahyun checks Tzuyuâs temperature. Tzuyu, looking slightly better but still exhausted, is lying down, her eyes half-closed as she rests.
âHer feverâs gone down,â Dahyun says softly, smoothing the blanket over Tzuyu. âShe just needs to sleep it off. Her parents will be there soon.â
Sana lets out a sigh of relief, running a hand through her hair. âThanks, Dahyun. I shouldâve been with her earlierâŠâ
Dahyun looks over at her, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. âMmm, I heard you were⊠preoccupied.â
She shifts in her seat, trying to play it cool. âIâuh, yeah, I was just grabbing coffee withââ
Dahyun raises an eyebrow, cutting her off. âWith her. Again.â She chuckles, clearly amused by the whole situation. âYou really couldnât wait until after work to flirt, huh?â
Sana feels the heat rush to her cheeks, a mix of embarrassment and defensiveness bubbling up. âItâs not like that! I just wanted toââ
âTo what? Casually flirt during work hours like you do every single day?â Dahyun teases, crossing her arms as she leans against the counter. âCome on, Sana. If you really want her, youâre gonna have to step up your game. I mean, youâre smooth and all, but maybe sheâs not picking up on it.â
Sana stares at her, confused. âWhat do you mean? I flirt with her all the time! How much clearer can I be? She has to know by now, right?â
Dahyun shakes her head, laughing softly. âApparently not. If she knew, sheâd probably have made a move by now too, donât you think? Or maybe sheâs just oblivious. Either way, youâre gonna have to do more than your usual teasing.â
Sana frowns, genuinely perplexed. âBut Iâm always complimenting her, giving her all my attention. How am I supposed to step it up?â
Dahyun giggles again, clearly enjoying this. âMaybe stop trying to make her flustered all the time and just be real with her. Ask her out for real. You know, something thatâs not in the middle of a workday with your class waiting on you.â
Sana groans, leaning back in her chair. âBut thatâs my thing! The flirting, the teasingâitâs how I show I like her.â
Dahyun shrugs. âYeah, well, maybe she doesnât get it. You might need to try a different approach, or sheâs just going to think youâre playing games forever.â
Sana bites her lip, mulling over Dahyunâs words. Could it really be that simple?
You sigh, kneeling beside the overturned pot, staring at the dirt and wilted leaves scattered on the floor. "We told Tzuyu to throw up in the plant like weâve seen in the movies!" Chaeyoungâs lisped explanation echoes in your head, and you still canât quite believe it. Momo, standing beside her, had nodded solemnly like theyâd been performing some sort of public service. Who wouldâve thought these kids would take movie scenes so literally?
The plant, unfortunately, looks beyond saving. You sigh again, preparing to toss it out when the soft creak of the library door catches your attention.
âHey, Sunshine,â Sanaâs voice calls gently from behind you.
You turn, finding her leaning in the doorway, her usual playful glint missing from her eyes, replaced by something more caring. Thereâs a tenderness in the way she approaches you, crossing the room to stand by your side.
âThey really told her to throw up in the plant, huh?â she asks, crouching down beside you, her gaze landing on the poor mess.
You nod, letting out a weary chuckle. âYup. Chaeyoung and Momo were the masterminds behind that one.â
Sana sighs softly, shaking her head in amusement. âKids.â She reaches out to brush a bit of dirt off the pot, her fingers gentle as she surveys the damage. âLooks like weâre going to need a new plant.â
You give her a small smile. âYeah, this oneâs seen better days. I was just about to throw it out.â
Sana glances at you, her expression soft. âYou donât have to do all this alone, you know. Itâs recess. Iâve got time to help clean up.â
You blink, a bit surprised by her offer. âSana, itâs okay, really. You donât need toââ
âI want to,â she interrupts. She kneels down next to you, grabbing a rag without hesitation. âBesides, youâve had a day too. Let me help.â
Thereâs no teasing in her tone, no flirty banter like usual. Just sincerity. It takes you off guard, making you pause for a second longer than youâd like to admit. Youâve always known Sana as playful, but this side of her feels differentâsofter, more genuine.
âWell, if you insist,â you finally say. âWe can clean up this mess together.â
She smiles, warm and gentle, and for the first time today, the chaos doesnât feel so overwhelming.
Oh, Sana.
~~~
The staff room is filled with murmurs and the low rustle of papers as everyone takes their seats for the meeting. You sit quietly in the corner, mind still lingering on the events of the day. Sana sits a few chairs away, casually leaning back, though you notice her glancing in your direction now and then. You try not to think too much of it, though the air feels tense, like something big is about to drop.
Jihyo stands at the front, her usual composed self, though thereâs an unmistakable tension in her expression. When she finally clears her throat, the room falls silent.
âThank you all for coming,â she starts, her tone a little heavier than usual. âI wish I had better news, but Iâll get straight to the point. Weâre going to be receiving significantly less funding this semester.â
The room goes silent for a beat before the groans start. You feel your stomach drop as whispers grow louder. Jeongyeon, sitting a few rows ahead, is visibly tense, her hands clenching at the edges of the table.
âThis is fucking bullshit!â Jeongyeon suddenly shouts, standing up and slamming her hands on the table. âHow are we supposed to do our jobs with less money? We barely have enough as it is!â
The room shifts uncomfortably at her outburst, but no one dares to disagree. You feel your heart sinking deeper, anxiety creeping up at the thought of how this will affect the library. Jihyo raises her hands, trying to calm everyone down.
âI know,â Jihyo says, her voice firm but empathetic. âIâm well aware of how difficult this will make things for all of us. But weâre going to have to make cuts. Iâm reallocating some of the budget to other departments that are in more immediate need.â
Jeongyeon huffs, dropping back into her seat with a frustrated scowl, but Jihyo continues.
âAnd unfortunately,â she adds, pausing to look around the room, âthe libraryâs budget is going to be completely cut. The funds will be redistributed to cover the gaps elsewhere.â
You freeze.
Completely cut?
It feels like the room closes in around you as the weight of the news settles in. You try to process the words, but they hit too hard, too fast. All you can think about are the kidsâthe ones who rely on the library for a quiet space, for books, for learning. The ones who look to you for help and guidance. How are you supposed to do your job with no funding?
You want to say something, to speak up, but the shock has stolen your voice. Itâs unfairânot just to you, but to the kids. Your chest tightens, but all you can do is sit there, stunned into silence.
Thatâs when you hear Sanaâs voice cut through the tension. âWait, hold on a second.â
All eyes turn to her as she stands, her expression serious, but thereâs a protectiveness in her tone. âJihyo, you canât just cut the libraryâs funding entirely. Thatâs going to hurt the students more than anything. They need the libraryâitâs not just a luxury; itâs essential.â
Jihyo meets her gaze, looking torn but resolute. âI understand that, Sana, but we donât have the resources. Something has to give.â
Sana shakes her head, stepping forward. âI get that everyoneâs under pressure, but cutting the libraryâs budget completely? Thatâs not the solution. Youâre taking away a vital space for the students. Youâve seen how many kids depend on it every day. How is that fair to them? Or toââ she glances over at you, her eyes softening for a moment ââto the people who work hard to make sure they have that space?â
Your breath catches, realizing sheâs speaking up for you, for the library, for the kids. Thereâs a quiet strength in the way she stands, not backing down.
Jihyo looks conflicted, her hands gripping the edges of the table as she exhales. "We donât have many options right now, but I hear you, Sana. Iâll see if thereâs anything we can do to minimize the cuts. But there will still be sacrifices."
Sana nods, her gaze steady. âI just donât want the library to disappear because itâs too important. We canât forget what it means to these kids.â
You glance at Sana, a wave of gratitude swelling in your chest. Even in the middle of the mess, sheâs still looking out for you. Itâs the first time youâve felt a little bit of hope since Jihyo dropped the bombshell.
Jihyo gives a tired nod, signaling the end of the conversation for now. âWeâll revisit this later. Thank you, everyone.â
As the room slowly begins to clear, you sit there, still processing. Sana walks over to you, a soft, reassuring smile on her face.
âDonât worry, Sunshine,â she says gently. âWeâll figure something out. I wonât let them forget how important you are to this school. Or the library.â
~~~
It was another bustling day in the library as Sanaâs class visited to pick out new books for the upcoming week. You were cataloging items at your desk, the familiar comfort of your work surrounding you. You spotted Sana in the hallway, animatedly discussing projects with Jeongyeon when a group of five little girls approached you, their eyes sparkling with mischief.
âMiss SunshineâŠâ they whispered in unison, their tone conspiratorial.
You looked up, curious. âWhatâs going on?â
Nayeon stepped forward, her expression serious. âI think Miss Sana has butterflies for you.â
You raised your brows, intrigued. âOh really?â
Chaeyoung nodded vigorously as she added, âYeah! She has a crush!â
You couldnât help but smile, leaning in a little closer. âA crush, huh? What makes you say that?â
They all nodded eagerly. Mina leaned in, her voice barely a whisper. âShe likes you, Miss Sunshine.â
You leaned forward to catch her words, feeling a warm blush creep onto your cheeks. âShe likes me?â
Tzuyu chimed in, âYouâre her sunshine. I heard it! She told the nurse!â
You laughed, the warmth in your cheeks growing. âDid she send you all to tell me this?â
Momo yawned, brushing her thick bangs away from her face. âSheâs weird. When you walk past our class, she always stops teaching, and itâs not like weâve been bad. She usually only does that when weâre talking over her!â
You shook your head, amusement dancing in your eyes. âI guess she just canât help but get distracted by her favorite librarian.â
The girls giggled, their joy contagious.
âWhatâs so funny?â Sana asked, hands on her hips as she walked closer to the desk.
The girls turned to her, their excitement bubbling over. Nayeon quickly pointed at you. âWe were just telling Miss Sunshine that you have butterflies for her!â
Sana raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk appearing on her lips. âOh really? What gave that away?â
Chaeyoung giggled, âYou always stop teaching when she walks by! And your face turns red!â
You felt your cheeks heat as Sana leaned in slightly, her voice low and teasing. âLooks like I canât hide anything from my favorite little spies,â she said, winking at the girls. âBut you all have to keep it a secret! You canât let my Sunshine know that I like her!â
The girls erupted into giggles, and you couldnât ignore the flutter in your heart.
They giggled and exchanged glances, clearly thrilled by the little secret they were part of. Nayeon leaned closer to you, âMiss Sunshine, do you like Miss Minatozaki back?â
You felt your heart race and glanced at Sana, who was watching you with a playful smile. âWell, sheâs⊠nice,â you managed to say, your cheeks warming.
Sana feigned surprise, placing a hand on her chest. âJust nice? I was hoping for more than that!â
The girls burst into laughter, their excitement infectious. Tzuyu piped up, âYou should tell her you like her, too!â
You laughed, shaking your head. âI donât think itâs that simple.â
Sana stepped closer, her eyes sparkling with something. âMaybe it is,â she said, her tone so incredibly gentle. âYou never know unless you try.â
~~~
A few weeks later, the library was dimly lit as you and Sana unpacked boxes of new books, the excitement from the recent funding shift making you both so happy.
Sana leaned in closer, her shoulder brushing against yours as she reached for a book. âYou know, I could really help you focus,â she teased, her voice soft and inviting.
You tried to concentrate, but then she pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek, lingering just a moment longer. âYou look so pretty when youâre deep in thought,â she murmured, her breath warm against your skin.
Flustered, you replied, âSana, we shouldnâtââ
Before you could finish, she kissed your neck, sending a rush of warmth through you. âJust a little distraction,â she whispered, nibbling playfully at your ear.
You let out a soft laugh, feeling your resolve melt away. âOkay, maybe just a quick break.â
With a bright smile, she pulled back to meet your gaze. âYou really are amazing, you know. So smart and talented. So kind to the kids and everyone around. A literal sunshine,â she said, wrapping her arms around your waist and leaning in to place a sweet peck on your lips, a tender touch that left you breathless.
She stepped back, her eyes sparkling with affection, âAnd I have to thank those little wingwomen for setting this up. They really know how to play matchmaker, donât they?â
You smiled, your heart swelling. âTheyâre so adorable and they probably learned that from you, miss flirt.â
Sana giggled. âMaybe. Now letâs get out of here, beautiful. I want to enjoy the rest of the day with you.â
Hand in hand, you walked out of the school, the cool evening air wrapping around you both.

Weekly Momo deliveries and you just want a little sweet treat!
a/n: based from a true story (I didnât kiss the delivery person though, but we are very good friends now) wait kiss? oops spoiler! also this used to be on my ao3
hbd momo ily!
Every Monday, you wait for the knock on your door, signaling the arrival of your weekly supply of fresh fruits and vegetables from the local farmers market. Youâd heard about the service from Tzuyu, who swore by the convenience and quality.
Before your first delivery, you had already made a little request in the online order form: âsend a sweet treat, surprise me.â It was a tiny change to break up your predictable and mundane schedule.
Just a little something new!
Your first meeting with Momo, the delivery person, was something. You opened the door, eyes still crusty from sleep, and there she was: rolled-up sleeves, a half-up hairdo, and cute glasses framing her face.
âOh, hey! Didnât expectâuh, someone like y-â
She flashed a smile that could rival the sun. âHi! Iâm Momo! Hope the surprise is a good one!â she said, raising the bag higher to your face, her muscles working and showing.
You caught a glimpse in the bag: a pack of gummies poking out the top. âThis is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!â
Momo chuckled and shrugged. âGlad you like it! Iâll be sure to keep them coming. Have a nice day!â
With that, she left, but you couldnât stop smiling. From that Monday on, your exchanges became something you looked forward to. Momo started adding a different treat each time, a little touch of sweet mixed into your groceries.
Mondays slowly turned into mini-breaks from lifeâs usual grind, and Momo would show up each week with her easygoing charm. Youâd chat about the weather, exchange stories from your week, and laugh over the oddities that ended up in the produce bag. Once, Momo brought you an alien-looking fruit neither of you could identify, sparking a lively debate over how one might even begin to eat it.
One Monday, Momo didnât show up. Instead, her replacement named Jihyo knocked on your door. And of course you asked,
âMomo doing okay?â
âSheâs fine, just a bit under the weather,â Jihyo replied with a smile. âBut she wanted to make sure I didnât skip your sweet.â She handed over your bag, complete with a box of chocolates and a handwritten note: âCaught a cold. Iâm fineâdonât worry. And hereâs the weekly treat ;)â
In that moment, you realized it wasnât just about the fruits and sweets anymoreâit was more. The connection Momo had brought to each delivery, her attention, her care...
Her, her, her.
Each Monday after that was a little brighter. One week, Momo handed you a box of caramels, a playful gleam in her eye. âGoing for extra sugar today. Hope youâre up for it.â
You giggled, âI trust your judgment. You're somehow always right.â
Momo grinned. âHey, maybe I have a hidden talent for matching snacks to peopleâs moods. Or just giving the right treat to the prettiest person I know.â
Your small talk gradually gave way to deeper conversations. Sheâd share stories from the marketâthe quirky customers, the hectic mornings, the occasional disasters with fresh produce. You found yourself opening up too, laughing about the oddest things in your week, discussing favorite candies and ridiculous fruit facts.
One rainy Monday, she handed over the bag with a selection of comfort sweets: chocolates, marshmallows, the works. âRainy days call for the good stuff,â she said simply, and you couldnât help but feel seen.
Loved, maybe?
Another Monday, Momo told you about a local festival coming up. âTheyâve got some amazing desserts there. Maybe youâd want to check it out?â
It sounded like a nice change of pace. So of course you agreed.
And of course you'd say yes to the cutest girl you've ever met.
When the day of the festival came, you ended up meeting Momo there, navigating the crowded stalls and sampling all the treats. At one point, she turned to you. âYou know, it feels like Iâve known you forever, and itâs only been, what, a few months?â
You nodded. âHonestly, Mondays have started feeling like a whole separate world. All because of you Momo, thank you.â you whispered, linking your pinky with hers.
You didn't miss the way she blushed.
In the weeks that followed, you found yourself waiting eagerly for those Monday and the possibility of other shared moments beyond the doorstep. Then, one sunny Monday, Momo brought you a small potted plant.
âI thought your place could use a touch of green. Plus, plants are like natural mood boosters, right?â
Touched, you accepted the gift, realizing it was more than just a plantâit symbolized something more.
One day, as you sat together on your cozy couch, Momo turned to you with a soft smile. âYou know, youâve made my Mondays something to look forward to. Itâs not just about the deliveriesâitâs about you.â
You felt a flutter in your chest and met Momo's gaze. She looked so sickeningly cute, her glasses slightly crooked, her cheeks flushed red and puffed up.
The words hung in the air with hearts beating faster and butterflies flying harder.
Before you could respond, Momoâs hand gently cupped your cheek, her warm fingers brushing against your skin, sending a shiver down your spine. She leaned in slowly, her lips meeting yoursâsoft, warm, tentative at first, then pressing with a little more certainty. The gentle pressure of her mouth against yours deepened as you both leaned closer, letting the moment linger.
When she pulled back, Momo gave you a small, shy smile, her nose scrunching up in that familiar way. âI really like you, Y/N.â
Her other hand slipped to the back of your neck, her fingertips tracing lightly along your skin, pulling you closer as her lips found yours again. This kiss was warm, unhurried.
âI like you so much.â
Another kiss.
Mondays would then never be the same, theyâd be even better.
Momo is the highest bidder in your auction. Sheâll always be.
a/n: a scrapped draft of mine from 2 years ago! also thank you @cry4mina for the push to post!
Momo wonders if this is the love she really wants.
Questions if waiting, staring at her phone until your name appears, is truly worth it. Hopes she lives in your thoughts as persistently as you linger in hers. Wishes her heart would stop clouding her mind.
Youâre both the best and worst sheâs known. Maybe even her downfall. And she knows it.
Yet, sheâs quick to answer your call.
How could she let you go? A quiet voice insists that youâre different, that youâre special. That you know exactly how to make her feel wanted, and she canât shake the memory of you both undressed.
She remembers your gaze, the way you look at her like sheâs the only one.
She knows sheâs in deep.
âHey, beautiful,â you say over the phone, your voice smooth and familiar.
Momo presses her lips together, steadying herself. Thereâs something in your tone that warms her, that pulls her in without effort.
âHey, are you comââ She catches herself, unwilling to sound too eager. You always seem to leave her brokenhearted anyway. Maybe if she holds back, just a little, itâll change something. âI mean, whatâs up?â
You chuckle softly, the sound easy, affectionate.
It unsettles her.
âWondering if Iâm coming over? Iâll be there soon, baby.â
Her pulse quickens.
Fuck.
She hates it.
A soft moan escapes her as your lips trace the curve of her jaw, teeth grazing her earlobe, your breath warm against her skin as you murmur how much youâve missed her.
With you above her, every inch of your body pressing down, her breath grows heavy. Your hands explore her skin slowly, tenderly. She arches up toward you, letting out a whimper as your lips trail down her chest, igniting something deep within her.
Then suddenly, the buzz of your phone cuts through the quiet, snapping her back to reality. She watches your gaze shift to the screen as the notifications light upâagain, then againâeach one a reminder of the others who wait, who think they have a piece of you.
Her stomach twists, a pang of jealousy sparking as she realizes what it means. She knows exactly whoâs messaging you right now, knows itâs all those others who think theyâre just as close to you as she is. Her heart races, and she almost pulls away, ready to push you off, but then she notices you hesitate, just for a second, before dismissing the phone entirely, letting it clatter to the floor.
You turn back to her, hands sliding firmly along her waist, pulling her closer. âIâm all yours,â you murmur, your lips finding the sensitive spot just below her ear. She gasps, hands gripping your shoulders as a soft, involuntary whine escapes her.
She bites her lip, trying to regain control, but the thrill of being chosen, of knowing sheâs the one youâre with right now, fills her with a wicked satisfaction.
Sheâs the highest bidder in your auction.
She pulls back slightly, looking into your eyes, a smirk playing on her lips as she whispers, âAll mine, huh?â Her hand reaches up to the back of your neck, her fingers slipping into your hair as she pulls you closer. âGood,â she purrs, leaning up to catch your bottom lip between her teeth, biting it gently, a possessive edge in the way she holds you there before finally releasing.
She feels the shift in your energy as your hands tighten on her. You lean in, kissing her lips hard. All the doubts, all the others, fade away as she lets herself revel in the fact that, at least for now, sheâs the one who has you all to herself.
~~~
Momo lies there in the quiet after you leave, staring up at the ceiling, trying to chase away the ache thatâs started to settle in her chest. The warmth of your touch lingers on her skin, like a ghost she canât shake, a reminder of what just happenedâand what always seems to happen. She picks up her phone, scrolling through the empty screen, already hoping for a message that she knows probably wonât come.
Hours pass, then days, and the silence from you stretches on, but she keeps checking, keeps waiting, convincing herself that this time youâll reach out first, that maybe somethingâs changed. Yet, the pattern repeats itself, and the truth becomes impossible to ignore. Momo knows sheâs just another option, one of many. Sheâs painfully aware of the game you play, but she canât bring herself to step away from it.
Finally, one night, her phone lights up with a notification. She grabs it without hesitation, her heart skipping a beat at the sight of your name. Itâs just a simple, âHey,â but itâs enough to pull her right back in, to erase the days of silence like they never happened. She tells herself she should ignore it, let you see what it feels like to be left waiting. But, just like always, she canât resist. She replies, her heart already racing, her mind filling with the possibility that maybe this time will be different.
You donât waste any time. Within minutes, youâre calling her, your voice smooth and familiar, wrapping around her like a warmth sheâs craved. âMiss me?â you ask, the question laced with that same teasing charm you know will hook her.
She wants to tell you how much it hurt when you disappeared, how tired she is of the push and pull, but the words wonât come out. Instead, she just breathes a small laugh, masking the vulnerability she hates showing. âYou wish,â she replies, forcing herself to sound casual, as if she hasnât spent days waiting just to hear from you.
You laugh softly, your voice so easy, so unaffected, and it stings, but she lets herself fall into it. She tries to convince herself that sheâs in control, that she can play the game too, but deep down, she knows the truth. The moment you ask to come over, sheâll say yes, and sheâll be right back where she started, hoping for a different ending to a story thatâs always the same.
And sure enough, when you say, âIâll be there in a few,â she canât stop herself. âAlright,â she whispers, trying to hide the tremor in her voice, the relief thatâs impossible to disguise.
Hanging up, she catches her own reflection in the mirror across the room and sees the longing in her eyes, the same expression she wore the last time you left, and the time before that. She knows this isnât what love should look like, that it shouldnât feel like this constant ache, this endless waiting.
But when you finally show up at her door, giving her that familiar smile, all her defenses fall away. The questions, the doubtsâtheyâre pushed aside as she pulls you inside, letting herself forget, if only for a little while, the reality sheâs too scared to face.
And as you hold her, she tells herself again that this time will be different, even as a quiet voice in her mind reminds her how this will end. Because deep down, she knows that as soon as the night is over, youâll leave, and sheâll be right back where she started, waiting by her phone, hoping for a message that might never come.
Jihyo thinks youâre so pretty. Just so pretty in so many ways and she wonders if you think the same of her too.
a/n: itâs spooky season! also do adore this work⊠something different!
Jihyo thinks you're so pretty.
From the first moment her eyes met yours, she was entranced, falling for you in an instant. Just a stranger passing by, you caught her attention and stood out among the many lives that intersected hers.
Leaning against the kitchen island, she smiles softly, her fingers hovering over your cup of coffee. Youâre so pretty as you huff and puff about your coworkers, groaning about deadlines while chatting on the phone with your best friend.
Jihyo watches you in the morning, her heart softening as you stir awake, face still creased from the pillow. The sunlight filters through the curtains, catching the sleepy smile that tugs at your lips. Youâre not polished or prepared for the day, but to her, youâve never looked more beautifulâcompletely at ease. Itâs these little moments she loves the most, where youâre unaware of how captivating you are.
When you cry over a sad movie, her heart aches for you. She hates seeing your eyes fill with tears, watching the way your face crumples as you clutch a tissue, trying to hold it together. It breaks her, seeing you like this, but even then, you are beautiful to her.
Walking outside, sheâs entranced by your giggle as you watch children play. You laugh as they run past, joy flashing across your face like a secret only you know. That laughâit fills her with warmth, makes her want to reach out and feel the light that radiates from you. But she stays silent, a quiet observer, as your laughter blends with the sounds of the world around you.
On the train, Jihyoâs eyes linger on you as you fight off the exhaustion from the day. You close your eyes for just a moment, your head leaning back as a quiet yawn escapes your lips. Your headphones slip slightly as your body surrenders to a brief moment of rest. Even in your fatigue, you look peaceful, the smallest gesturesâlike the way you adjust your jacketâutterly captivating.
Later, as you emerge from the shower, fresh and warm, Jihyo feels her heart swell again. You wrap yourself in a towel, your skin still damp and flushed from the heat, and the sight of you in this quiet, cozy moment takes her breath away. The scent of soap lingers in the air as you slip into your pajamas, your movements gentle, unhurried. When you finally settle into bed, pulling the covers around you, she watches you with a mix of affection and longing.
You're just so pretty.
Jihyo adores how you take care of yourself, even in your most vulnerable moments. She watches as you settle into bed, legs casually spread under the sheets, your bitten lip hinting to some teasing. The sight makes her heart race and her cheeks flush; itâs incredibly flustering to see you like this, so effortlessly captivating.
Needy.
God, how you manage to look so beautiful when you let your guard downâwhen you fall apart just a little with your hand working yourself. Every little detail, from the way your chest rises and falls to the gentle curve of your body beneath the soft fabric...
Jihyo wonders if you think sheâs pretty too.
Sheâs curious if you notice the little things as you go about your day, completely unaware of her lingering presence. Did you feel that sudden gust of wind brush against your skin? Did you see those leaves turn upside down, dancing in the air as if they knew her secret?
She chuckles at how ridiculous this all sounds, but did you just feel a puff of warmth on your neck, a gentle caress that only she could provide?
In her heart, she really wonders if you think sheâs pretty too.
She thinks you do.
Did you see the candle flame flicker just as her hand hovered over your shoulder, a silent acknowledgment of her affection? Or do you ever catch a faint whiff of that dewy, musky perfume when youâre all alone and feeling broken?
Jihyo lingers, waiting for another sign, wondering if youâve noticed any of the tiny ripples she leaves in your world. Did you hear the soft creak of the floorboards when there was no one else around? Did you feel the room grow just a little colder as you walked through it? She smiles, knowing how ridiculous it seems, but in her heart, she hopes. She hopes youâve felt the brush of her fingers when the lights flickered, or that your breath hitched when the air turned just a little heavier, as if someone were standing right behind you.
She knows you wonât realize it, not fully. But one day, maybe youâll catch something more, some trace of her love that lingers long after sheâs gone. Until then, sheâll haunt you gently, watching you from afar, loving you silently from the shadows.
Jihyo knows sheâll never stopâsheâll haunt you forever, her presence like the wind in the trees or the flicker of candlelight. Sheâll stay with you until the day someone else comes along, someone who steals your heart away from her. And when that day comes, when she sees you happy and in love with someone who can hold you the way she never could, only then will she finally let you go.
But until then, Jihyo will stay. Always there, always watching, always loving you from a distance.
Sana wants you as much as you want her. Maybe even more.
eusexua: "a state where you meet somebody that you really like, and you just kiss all night, and you kiss for all hours. You lose time."
a/n: fka twigs I love you. also Iâm in my sana era can you tell?
Do you feel alone? Youâre not alone.
The beat is familiar, as is the glow of the neon lights casting shadows across the crowded club. Youâve been here beforeâsame time, same place, just like every other weekend. And like always, Sana is here, too.
You spot her instantly, just like you always do. Sheâs dancing, her body moving fluidly with the rhythm, completely at ease, as if the music was made for her. But tonight feels differentâthereâs something in the air between you, something more intense.
Sanaâs eyes catch yours across the floor, and thereâs no mistaking it this time. Sheâs been waiting for you too. She weaves her way through the crowd, her gaze never leaving yours.
âYouâre always here,â she says when sheâs close enough, her voice smooth, teasing. âSame time, same place. Waiting for me?â
Her body presses lightly against yours, her lips curving into a smile that sends a shiver down your spine. Her fingers trail along your arm, familiar but always electrifying.
âYou like this game we play, donât you?â she whispers, her breath hot against your skin, her lips brushing the shell of your ear. âPretending weâre just dancingâŠâ
Thereâs a heat between you now, built up from weeks of stolen glances. Her fingers tighten on your waist as her body molds against yours.
âIâve been waiting for you,â she says softly, her tone shifting from playful to serious. Her eyes flicker with something deeper, something thatâs been simmering just beneath the surface. âAll those nights, watching you, wanting you...â
Her hands slide up your sides, possessive, pulling you closer until thereâs no space left between you. Her lips hover over your neck, teasing but not quite touching.
âYou have no idea what you do to me,â she continues, a whine dying at the back of her throat. âI think about you all the time. Even when weâre not here, even when Iâm not supposed to.â
You swallow hard, the intensity of her words hitting you like a wave. She knows that youâve always wanted her too. It was always her.
Always Sana.
She pulls you into a kiss, slow at first, testing, but then harder, more urgent, like sheâs finally giving in to the weeks of pent-up desire. Her hands slide to your face, holding you close, like sheâs afraid youâll disappear.
âIâm done waiting,â she says against your lips. âI want you.â
She grabs your hand, her fingers threading through yours with a firm grip. She doesnât say a wordâjust smiles, tugs you toward the door, and you follow. Itâs always like this with her. She leads, you follow. It's inevitable.
She glances back at you, her eyes glimmering under the streetlights, her lips still curved in that knowing smile. Her hair swings with every step, catching the light as it moves. Her cheeks are flushed from the heat of the club, from the way she kissed you like sheâd been waiting weeks to do it.
Her hips sway deliberately as she walks, each step drawing your eyes. She knows exactly what sheâs doing, and itâs driving you crazy.
âStill with me, beautiful?â she teases, her voice light but with an edge that sends a spark straight through you. She looks over her shoulder, her eyes flicking to yours, daring you to look away. You donât.
You canât.
Her laughter floats in the air between you as she leads you down the street, her pace slow, giving you time to catch up to her. She stops suddenly, spinning to face you beneath the glow of a streetlight. It makes her look almost ethereal.
âCome here,â she whispers. She pulls you into her, her body pressing close, her hand sliding up your arm to your neck, pulling you down to her level.
You barely have time to breathe before her lips are on yours again. This kiss is quick, but itâs enough to take your breath away. She pulls back just a bit, enough to see the dazed look in your eyes.
âI like seeing you like this,â she murmurs, her breath brushing your lips. âCompletely undone.â
She giggles, the sound light and carefree, the complete opposite of the heat in her gaze. She gives you a final tug, pulling you even closer, her lips brushing your jaw.
âDonât worry,â she breathes, âIâm not done with you yet.â
The walk to Sanaâs place fades into a blur. You barely register the city around youâthe lights, the people, the sounds. Itâs all background noise to the feeling of her hand pulling you along.
By the time you reach her apartment, your breath is uneven. Sana steps inside, letting the door click shut behind her. She doesnât say anything at first, just stands there, leaning against the door, eyes locked on you.
The way the city lights filter through the window makes the room flicker with shadows, like the club lights have followed you here, but now everything is quieter, more carnal.
Sana stays leaning against the door, her eyes never leaving yours as she smirks. âYouâre so pretty,â she says, the words almost taunting. âStanding there like that⊠itâs almost too much.â
She doesnât move at first, just lets her gaze travel over you, her lower lip stuck between her teeth. Then, slowly, she pushes off the door and steps toward you, her eyes dark.
When sheâs close enough, her fingers graze your cheek, barely touching, but enough to make your skin burn. âI canât decide if I want to kiss you,â she murmurs. A lick of lips. âor just take a bite.â
Your breath catches, the weight of her words lingering as Sanaâs fingers slip from your cheek to your wrist, guiding you with an effortless pull. She doesnât rush, just looks back at you with that same teasing smile, her eyes darker now, her pace slow as she leads you down the hallway.
She brings you into her bedroom, the soft glow of the city filtering through the windows. She stops by the bed, turning to face you, her breath is already uneven.
âUndress,â she says, ever so gently, her gaze roaming your body like sheâs already imagining whatâs underneath.
You take your time, peeling off each layer, knowing her eyes are on you. The moment your shirt comes off, you hear itâa soft hitch in her breath. Her eyes flicker, darkening with something more primal. She bites her lip, trying to play it cool, but itâs clear sheâs affected.
As your pants hit the floor, her chest rises and falls more quickly. âGod,â she mutters, voice husky, her eyes tracing the lines of your body. âYouâreââ She swallows, momentarily speechless. âYouâre so perfect.â
You hold her gaze as you finish undressing, fully aware of how intently sheâs watching, the way her breath keeps catching. It sends a rush through you, knowing the effect you have on her.
Her hand trembles slightly as she reaches for the hem of her own shirt. She pulls it off, tossing it aside, but sheâs slower this timeâdeliberate, like she wants you to see every inch of her. Her breath hitches again as she unbuttons her pants, and you can see how much itâs costing her to keep steady.
âYou have no idea what youâre doing to me,â she whispers, stepping out of the last of her clothes, her eyes never leaving yours. âI canât⊠I canât believe how badly I want you.â
Finally, she steps forward, her fingers grazing your skin, her breath warm and shaky. âCome here,â she murmurs, her voice softer now, laced with hunger. âI need to feel you.â
Sana closes the distance between you in a heartbeat, her breath shaky as her lips crash into yours. The kiss is deep, almost desperate, her hands sliding up your arms before finding your waist, pulling you closer like she canât get enough. Her body presses against yours, warm and electric.
She pulls back for a moment, her breath heavy against your lips. âIâve wanted this all night,â she murmurs. Her fingers trace the curve of your hip before gently guiding you toward the bed.
She steps back just enough to let you sit down, your knees brushing the edge of the mattress. Her eyes are locked on yours, the room around you fading away, leaving only the two of you in the dim glow. You sit at the edge of the bed, heart pounding in your chest, as she stands in front of you, looking so pretty and out of breath already.
She lowers herself slowly, her knees pressing into the floor between your legs, her hands gliding up your thighs. âYouâre killing me, you know that?â she whispers, her lips curving into a playful smile before she leans in, kissing you again, this time slower, savoring the taste of you.
Sana pulls back slightly, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she locks onto your gaze. She bites her lip, leaning in until her nose brushes against yours, her breath warm and inviting.
âUse your hands,â she whispers, letting the words linger between you. âShow me what you want. Enjoy me.â
She leans back slightly, a teasing smirk playing on her lips. âOr should I do what I want?â she adds, squeezing your thighs firmly, her fingers pressing in just enough to elicit a whimper from you.
Youâre over itâthe teasing, the lingering touches that never go far enough. With a sharp breath, your hand moves swiftly, fingers slipping into her hair and giving it a firm tug.
Sanaâs moan is immediate, loud and shameless, filling the space between you. Her head tilts back under your grip, exposing the vulnerable curve of her throat as her cheeks flush deep pink. She blinks, eyes fluttering open with a dazed look, her lips parted and breath shaky.
âYou like that?â she giggles breathlessly, not missing the way you whined at her reaction.
âEnough,â you huff, tightening your grip. âJust take what you want.â
Sanaâs eyes widen at your words, the intensity of your command pulling her out of her playful teasing. She breathes in deeply, her chest rising and falling as she swallows hard. Then her lips curve into a grin, her hands gripping your thighs more firmly as she presses closer, finally giving in.
Her tongue just grazes your folds, and youâre already falling apart. Your core muscles give out as you collapse onto her soft sheets.
Sana releases a high-pitched whine as she watches you unravel from just her touch. Her hands glide up to squeeze your breasts before trailing back down, slipping under your thighs. Her nails dig into your skin as she pulls your legs over her shoulders.
Sheâs gentle with her tongue, delicately exploring every inch of your sex. She briefly dips into your hole before wrapping her tongue around your clit, suckling softly.
Sheâs riled you up so much, itâs almost impossible to not already reach your peak. Her moans and soft cries with every stroke of her tongue against your core arenât making it any easier either. You canât even tell if itâs from your taste, your sounds, orâ
âGod, youâre so hot,â she whimpers, catching her breath. âFuck.â Without missing a beat, she leans in for a swift lick. âYou taste so good.â
Or both.
With your last ounce of strength, you sit up and grasp her curls, your body folding and hovering over her. She groans, devouring you hungrily. Everything feels more intense now; her fingers dig into your skin, and her lips move with fervor. The soundsâgosh, the sounds⊠Sheâs slurping and grunting against you and itâs filthy. Completely lost in pleasure, you start to grind against her face, and a deep moan escapes her.
âThatâs what I want! Yes! Use me, baby,â she cries out, her voice breaking with desperation.
You obey, releasing yourself all over her. Her tongue plunges in, and her nose lightly brushes against your clit. It feels so blissful that you know youâre gonna fall apart.
A harsh suck and your toes curl. Sana presses deeper into you, her moans urging you to ride out your high.
You gasp, trying to push her head away, but she doesnât let up, her fingers digging in so hard into your skin that you canât distance yourself.
"Sana!"
Your head falls back, and you notice the room is no longer dark. An orange glow fills the space as the sun rises, and you realize how much time has slipped away. And oh, fuckâfuck, fuck, fuck!
"Sana! Again, Iâm gonna-"
Teacher Sana, librarian reader, and the crew chaperone a year-end trip for the kids graduating elementary school. Itâs exciting, itâs changing, weâre arguing, ugh!
a/n: sequel to Sunshine :) also chae, momo, tzu, mina and nayeon are in sixth grade now so you know⊠they change
You wrinkle your forehead, pondering which books would be perfect for story time on the upcoming trip. Itâs the kidsâ final year at this schoolâshould you choose something about the teenage years, high school drama? Or keep their imaginations alive with something more whimsical? Theyâve grown so moody and sharp-tongued, you wonder if theyâll even sit still long enough for a story.
The soft creak of the library door catches your attention, and you donât need to turn around to know who it is. Her scent pulls you in as she draws closer. Hands slide around your waist from behind, and you canât help but smile. âMy sunshine,â Sana murmurs, planting a gentle kiss on your jaw.
You hum softly, half-lost in thought, as Sanaâs lips brush against the back of your neck. Her hands glide up, fingers tracing your sides, slow and teasing. âWhatâs got you thinking so hard?â she whispers, her lips close to your ear, voice low and playful. You try to focus, but her touch is persistent, her fingers pressing into your waist just enough to make your breath hitch.
âIâm just⊠trying to figure out the right books for the kids,â you manage, though your voice wavers when Sanaâs hands slip to your hips, pulling you back gently against her.
âMmm, always working. My babyâs so good and perfect,â she purrs, letting her lips trail down your neck. âNeed me? Thereâs a few ways I can help.â Her hands wander, and the warmth of her body presses into you as she sways you both, ever so slightly.
You bite your lip, trying to keep your thoughts straight, but sheâs relentless, her touch making it hard to think about anything except her. âSana,â you say, though itâs more of a breath than a warning.
âHmm?â she replies, her voice full of mischief as her hands drift higher. âLet me help.â
You sigh, fighting to stay focused. âIâm serious, Sana,â you manage to say, though your voice is unsteady with the way her lips linger on your neck, her touch making it hard to concentrate.
âIâm serious too,â she whispers, her fingers slipping beneath the hem of your shirt, grazing your skin and sending a shiver through you. Her lips press a soft kiss just behind your ear, and your breath catches. âThe kids love a bit of adventure, some magicâŠâ she murmurs, her voice like silk, while her fingers trace slow, teasing patterns on your waist.
Your heart skips a beat as she nuzzles closer, lips brushing behind your ear again. âWe could always read them a horror story,â she says, her tone playful. âBetter than scaring them with teenage high school doom. Theyâll get enough of that next fall.â
Sanaâs hands glide up your sides before she gently turns you around to face her, her eyes soft and warm. She smiles, so sweetly, so full of love that your chest tightens. âI know youâll find the best books,â she whispers, her voice full of affection. âYouâre always so great at that.â
The tenderness in her words makes you lean in, closing the distance between you. Your lips meet hers, and you feel the soft, surprised moan escape from her as your kiss deepens. She melts against you, a giggle bubbling up as she pulls back slightly, eyes gleaming.
âDidnât expect that, huh?â you murmur, brushing your thumb across her cheek as she beams up at you.
Sanaâs grin turns sly as her fingers trace slow circles on your hips. âNope, but Iâm definitely not complaining,â she murmurs, leaning in, her lips inches from yours. âKiss me again?â
Her hands slide down past your hips, and you can feel the way her chest presses into yours during each breath. âSanaâŠâ you begin, but she just giggles, her lips brushing yours.
âSunshineâŠâ she whispers, as she tilts her head to give you puppy eyes. Her hands roam higher, her breath warm against your lips. âPlease?â
You laugh softly. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd you love it,â she teases, before you lean in to give her another kiss.
I do love you.
The bus buzzes with excitement as everyone settles in for the trip. Jeongyeon stands at the front, clipboard in hand, doing a final headcount. âIs everyone here?â
Up by the driver, Jihyo is confirming last-minute details, her phone in one hand as she gestures to the route on her screen. She catches your eye, giving you a quick nod before returning to her conversation.
A few rows back, Sana and Dahyun are busy sorting snacks. âGranola bars or apples?â Dahyun asks, while Sana grins, already handing out gummy bears to the nearby kids.
You unfold the itinerary Jihyo gave you earlier, scanning the plans for the next three daysâhiking, a museum visit, and a campfire night. The schedule is packed, but it looks fun. The bus engine rumbles and you glance out the window, watching the school fade away.
âMiss Sunshine, are you excited?â Nayeonâs voice breaks your focus. She pops her head over the seat in front of you, her bunny smile wide and playful.
You grin back at her, her bangs now gone, showing off more of her face. âYeah, Iâm excited! Itâs going to be great!â
Nayeon rests her chin on the seatback, her eyes twinkling. âYay! Just checking if these plans are fun enough,â she teases, nodding toward the itinerary in your lap.
Before you can answer, Mina shyly peeks over the seat beside her, her chubby cheeks almost gone but her smile still soft and sweet. âAre you excited too?â she asks quietly.
You nod, returning her gentle smile. âYeah, definitely. What about you, sweetheart?â
âA little nervous,â Mina admits with a shy laugh, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. âBut I think itâll be fun.â
Nayeon playfully pokes Minaâs nose. âDonât worry, weâll make sure you have a blast!â
Just as youâre about to respond, a loud groan comes from the back of the bus. You turn around to see Chaeyoung glaring at Momo, whoâs casually chewing something.
âWhatâs going on back there?â you ask.
âStupid Momo ate my gummies!â Chaeyoung exclaims, slapping Momoâs arm.
Momo shrugs, still chewing, her eyes fixed on the window. âYou canât even eat them with those ugly braces of yours,â she says, totally unfazed.
You gasp, ready to step in, but Sanaâs already on it. She steps forward, arms crossed, her tone firm. âApologize. Both of you. Now.â
Chaeyoung and Momo mumble half-hearted apologies. Before Jeongyeon can jump in to scold them, Dahyun calls out urgently, âTzuyuâs getting car sick!â
The bus is quickly descending into chaos, and you sigh, glancing back at the itinerary. Itâs only the beginning of the trip, and things are already getting ugh!
The museum is cool and quiet, the soft echo of footsteps and hushed voices filling the space as you stand in front of a large exhibit on historical archives. The kids gather around you, their curious eyes wide as they listen.
Tzuyu raises her hand and you canât help but notice how much sheâs grown. Sheâs nearly your height now, standing out from the group of students, and you smile at the memory of her being one of the shortest in the group not too long ago.
âBut how do people even know whatâs important to keep?â She asks, her wide eyes full of genuine wonder. âLike⊠how do you choose what goes into an archive?â
You smile, glad to see her so engaged. âThatâs a great question, Tzuyu. Archivists look at whatâs relevant to peopleâs lives, cultures, and history. We collect things that tell stories about how people lived, what they valued, what they struggled with. Sometimes, itâs big events or, itâs something smallâlike letters, or old photos. Itâs about piecing together the whole story.â
Tzuyu nods thoughtfully, clearly thinking it over, and beside her, Momo speaks up next. âSo, like⊠even regular peopleâs stuff gets kept? Not just famous people?â
âExactly,â you say, nodding. âEveryoneâs story matters, not just the famous ones. Thatâs why personal archives are so important.â
You glance at Sana for a brief moment. Sheâs leaning against the wall in the back, her eyes never leaving you. Thereâs a glow in her expression, like sheâs seeing you in a new light, utterly in awe of how effortlessly you share your passion with the kids. Her gaze makes you feel warm inside, and you canât help but stand a little taller.
Before you can continue, Nayeon adds, âWait, so do you think in a hundred years, people are going to be looking at our old texts and selfies in an archive?â
The group breaks into giggles, but you nod. âItâs possible! Digital archives are a huge part of the future. What we share online, what we document today, might be what future generations use to understand our world. So yeah, even your selfies could be a part of history.â
The kids laugh again as Sana catches your eye again from the back, mouthing the words, âyouâre amazing. I love you.â You can feel the pride swelling in her chest. Itâs as if sheâs soaking up every bit of who you are in this moment, her eyes filled with deep affection. You smile softly at her before turning back to the kids.
"Should we go for lunch, class?"
"Yes!"
The food court is busy as you settle into your seat with the staff, Sana comfortably by your side. You take a bite of your sandwich, feeling her hand resting gently on your thigh under the table, her thumb tracing soft circles that bring a smile to your lips.
As your gaze drifts to the studentsâ table, you spot Momo happily sharing her food with Chaeyoung, who clutches her âprehistoricâ boneâsomething she bought at the souvenir shop. "You wouldnât get it Miss, itâs Tim Burton aesthetic," she explained, eyes sparkling. A little odd, but you canât help but chuckle at the sight.
Jeongyeon leans in with a playful grin. âThey grow up so fast, donât they?â
You nod, the bittersweet reality sinking in. âYeah... bummer this is my last year with them.â
Before you can dwell on it, Jihyo chimes in from across the table, a mischievous glint in her eye as she winks at Sana. âWell, not for everyone. Some of us will still be following them.â
The comment catches you off guard, leaving you momentarily confused, but before you can respond, Dahyun cuts in with a flourish. âIâm sending all my energy to the high school nurse. Theyâre going to need it when this bunch shows up!â
Laughter fills the air, and the lighthearted teasing continues. Sanaâs hand remains on your thigh, her fingers shifting to rub gentle circles on your lower back.
She leans a little closer, âI canât wait for summer break,â she says, glancing at you with a soft smile. âFinally, weâll have time to rest, recharge, andââ she pauses, her tone dripping with affection, âIâll finally get to spend time with my girl.â
The second she finishes, a chorus of groans erupts from around the table.
âOh, here we go again,â Jihyo sighs, rolling her eyes dramatically.
âSeriously?â Jeongyeon adds, shaking her head with an amused smirk. âCanât we get through one meal without you two being all lovey-dovey?â
Even Dahyun joins in, mock-fanning herself. âSo sweet itâs giving me cavities.â
Sana simply scrunches her nose and nudges you lightly, her eyes sparkling with love.
My sunshine that I love so much.
~~~
The campfire crackles as you get ready to set up for story time. Just as you arrange the last few details, the kids come bustling into the cabin, their faces alight with mischief.
Mina steps forward, holding something carefully in her hands. She gives you a shy smile before presenting a handmade card, decorated with bits of books, photos, and âThank Youâ written in neat, colorful letters. Your heart swells at the sight of it.
You chuckle, shaking your head, when Nayeon speaks up next. âWeâre gonna miss you so much! Our favourite librarian!â she says, leaning in, her bunny smile on full display. âWeâll make sure to ask Miss. Minatozaki for updates on you.â
You pause, confused. âOh?â
Before Nayeon can answer, Momo chimes in, smirking. âSana told us sheâs coming with us to high school. Sheâll be our teacher there!â
The room stills for a moment as you process the words. Sana, in high school? She never mentioned that.
âYeah!â Tzuyu bounces excitedly. âShe said sheâll follow us!â
A weight settles in your chest, but you push it aside for now. Smiling, you pull the kids in for a hug. âThank you for the beautiful gift,â you say softly, holding them close.
The door opens, and Sana walks in, her eyes lighting up as soon as she sees you with the kids. âMy sunshine and my favorite students,â she says warmly, her smile bright. The kids giggle, but you remain quiet, your mind stuck on what they just said.
âHigh school, huh?â you ask, your tone a little sharper than you intended.
Sanaâs smile falters, sensing the shift. She quickly turns to the kids. âWhy donât you go help with the marshmallows outside?â
The kids rush out, arguing playfully about who will get to roast the first one, and youâre left standing with Sana.
Sensing the weight of your silence, she steps closer, reaching out to take your hand gently. You hesitate for a moment, but eventually let her hold it, feeling the familiar comfort in her touch. She gives your hand a soft squeeze, searching your face, and for a brief second, you squeeze back.
âSana...â you start, trying to find the right words.
Before you can continue, she says quietly, âI wasnât trying to keep it from you. I thoughtââ
You take a breath, whispering as you finally respond, âLook, Iâm happy for you. Itâs a big step in your career, a new chapter. Go for it.â
Sanaâs eyes drop to your hand in hers, and though sheâs still holding on, you can feel the tension growing. You offer a small smile, trying to reassure her.
âI just... need to go finish setting up for story time,â you say softly, pulling your hand from hers and stepping toward the door.
ây/n, wait!â
~~~
Story time had been a complete success. The kids were captivated (and petrified, thanks to Jeongyeon) by every word, huddled around the campfire as the horror story unfolded. Now, the cabin is quiet, save for the soft sounds of their peaceful breaths. You step inside to check on them one last time. Tzuyu is curled up in Nayeonâs arms, Minaâs head rests on Chaeyoungâs legs, and Momo is sprawled out in her usual starfish position, taking up an unnecessary amount of space on the bed.
You smile tenderly, a yawn creeping up on you as exhaustion from the long day finally settles in. Jeongyeon and Dahyun bid their goodnights, leaving for their own cabins while you stay behind to help Jihyo with the cleanup.
âThanks for sticking around to help,â Jihyo whispers with a tired smile, stacking the last of the blankets.
âNo problem. Just a bit more to go,â you reply, picking up a bucket of water to extinguish the dying fire outside.
As you step out into the cool night air, the stars twinkling above, you feel a gentle tug on your arm. Turning, you find Sana standing there, her eyes filled uncertainty.
âCan we talk?â she asks quietly, her voice barely louder than the soft rustling of the trees.
You set the bucket down, your heart heavy with everything left unsaid between you. Nodding, you let her pull you to the campfire.
Sana leads you to the glow of the campfire, where the night feels even quieter. She stops, turning to face you, her fingers still gently wrapped around your wrist.
She sighs, eyes searching yours. âI didnât mean to keep you in the dark about... high school,â she says softly. Her voice wavers slightly, but she holds your gaze, her brow furrowed with concern.
You look at her, feeling the weight of her words settle in. âI just wish you wouldâve told me,â you admit. âI mean, Iâm happy for you, really. Itâs a huge step. But... thatâs something I needed to hear from you.â
Sana winces slightly at your words, her thumb absentmindedly tracing circles on your wrist. âI didnât want to upset you. I just... I thought this was something we could figure out together later.â
You raise an eyebrow. âLater? Sana, they all knew before I did.â
Her lips part to respond, but she stops herself, dropping her gaze to the ground. She takes a breath before speaking again. âI didnât realize how much it would hurt you. I just... I thought youâd be proud, and weâd find a way to make it work.â
Your heart softens at her words, but thereâs still a dull ache in your chest. âItâs not that Iâm not proud of you. Youâre amazing. But weâve always worked through things together. This feels like... youâre moving on without me.â
Sanaâs eyes widen, and she quickly steps closer, her hands now cupping your face. âNo, no, Iâm not moving on without you. I could never do that. I was going to tell you, I promise, but everything happened so fast with the kids, and I thought... I thought I had time.â
You let out a quiet breath, leaning into her touch as she speaks. The sincerity in her voice is enough to make your frustration melt away just a little.
âI donât want to lose us,â she whispers, her eyes searching yours again, filled with worry. âI want us to be okay.â
You nod, your hand coming up to rest on hers, squeezing gently. âWe will be. We just... need to communicate better. No more surprises like this.â
Sana bites her lip, then nods quickly. âNo more surprises.â She pulls you closer, resting her forehead against yours for a long moment.
âI love you,â she murmurs. âAnd Iâll figure out how to make this work for both of us.â
You close your eyes, taking in the moment, feeling the tension between you ease slightly. âI love you too,â you whisper back.
Sanaâs hands slide from your cheeks to your nape. She leans in, her lips pressing against yours in a soft, lingering kiss. When she pulls back, her gaze is filled with nothing but love and sincerity.
"I love you," she whispers, her voice barely audible as she kisses you again. Another kiss follows, each one a little more insistent, like sheâs trying to convey everything she feels through the tender brush of her lips.
"I love you," she repeats, her voice growing softer with every kiss. She peppers your face with themâyour lips, your cheeks, the corner of your mouthâeach one carrying the same words. "I love you... I love you."
You canât help but smile between her kisses, your heart swelling as her warmth surrounds you. The tension from before dissolves completely, replaced by the reassurance of her love and the depth of her affection.
Sana finally pulls back just a fraction, her nose pressing against your cheek as she breathes out, âI love you,â one last time, her voice barely a whisper.
You close your eyes, soaking in the moment, feeling the world fade around you, leaving just the two of you standing there in the cool night air.
After a few heartbeats, you pull away slightly, your smile mirroring hers. âWeâre going to be okay,â you say softly.
Sana nods, her hands still cradling your face as she smiles, eyes glistening. âTogether,â she whispers.
~~~
Sanaâs hands roam your back as she pulls you closer, her lips warm and insistent against yours. The soft hum of your office fades as you melt into the kiss, her familiar, teasing energy filling the space between you. Sana breaks away for a second, her breath tickling your skin as she whispers, "You know, we could just stay here... a little longer."
Her lips find your neck, and you let out a soft laugh, half-heartedly trying to push her away. "Sana, youâre terrible."
"Terribly in love," she murmurs, her hands slipping beneath the hem of your shirt as her lips brush against your collarbone. You tilt your head back, losing yourself in the moment untilâ
The phone rings.
With a groan, you reach for the receiver, catching Sanaâs pout out of the corner of your eye. You press it to your ear, trying to steady your breath.
"Hello?"
"Y/N, stop kissing Sana in your office and get back to your library," Jihyoâs voice comes through, sharp but teasing.
You freeze, your face heating up. "W-What? Iâm notâ"
"You are," Jihyo cuts you off, a hint of amusement in her tone. "The entire high school is waiting for you to unlock the doors. Get moving!"
You glance at Sana, whoâs biting her lip to keep from laughing. She leans in, mouthing, busted.
You roll your eyes, a grin tugging at your lips. "Right, right. Iâll be there in a minute," you say, before hanging up the phone.
Sana giggles, slipping her arms around your waist again. "Looks like weâve been caught."
"Yeah, thanks to you," you laugh, giving her a playful shove. "Come on, weâve got a school waiting."
Sana sighs dramatically, pressing a quick kiss to your lips before stepping back. "Fine, fine. But tonight," she says, winking as she heads for the door, "Iâm not letting you escape."
You shake your head with a smile, grabbing your keys and following her out.

The group sits sprawled across their usual corner in the cafeteria, as if they own the place. Nayeon, perched in the center, knows sheâs the it girl and doesnât even try to hide it. She leans back in her chair, twirling a strand of hair around her finger as she flips through her phone. Her lips curve in a satisfied smile whenever someone from another table glances their way.
"Honestly," Nayeon says, voice dripping with dramatic flair, "I canât help it if people want to be me."
Chaeyoung, whoâs been doodling something vaguely surreal and definitely weird on a napkin, looks up with a snort. "Yeah, well, try being original for once." She holds up her drawingâa mishmash of creatures and odd geometric shapes. "Now this is what people should be looking at."
Nayeon squints at it and tilts her head. "Is that⊠a lizard playing guitar with a tree trunk?"
Chaeyoung beams proudly. "Close. Itâs a frog shredding on an electric cactus."
Momo, sitting beside them, can barely keep her eyes open. Her head is resting in her arms on the table, and she groans sleepily. "Why are we talking so loud⊠Canât we just take a nap? Lunch break is for resting, not arguing over frogs."
Tzuyu, towering over everyone, stifles a laugh as she listens to the banter. Even though sheâs practically taller than half the faculty, to the others, sheâs still the baby of the group. She reaches over to pat Momoâs head, as if soothing a child. "Youâre always sleepy. Maybe if you didnât stay up binge-watching food documentaries, youâd be awake enough to hear Chaeyoungâs masterpiece."
Momo grumbles, not lifting her head. "Theyâre calming. And educational. Unlike your jokes, Tzuyu."
Tzuyu, with her trademark deadpan expression, shrugs. "I make excellent jokes. Youâre just too tired to appreciate them."
Chaeyoung leans back, grinning. "Iâll give you that. Tzuyuâs funnier than people give her credit for."
"But sheâs still our baby," Nayeon teases, reaching over to pinch Tzuyuâs cheek. "Our little giant baby."
Tzuyu sighs dramatically, gently swatting Nayeonâs hand away. "Iâm literally the tallest one here. And Iâm not a baby."
"Aw, donât worry," Momo mumbles sleepily, barely raising her head. "Youâll always be the groupâs baby, no matter how tall you get."
Tzuyu rolls her eyes but doesnât argue, knowing sheâll never win this battle. Instead, she reaches over to take a sip of her drink, pretending not to care.
Mina, whoâs been quietly fiddling with her handheld gaming console throughout the entire conversation, finally chimes in. "I think we should all just get into gaming and forget about all this."
Chaeyoung leans over to peek at Minaâs screen. "What are you playing now? Is it that alien spaceship game again?"
Mina nods enthusiastically. "Itâs the latest version. Way more levels, better graphics⊠Itâs amazing."
Nayeon rolls her eyes affectionately. "Youâre such a nerd, Mina. If you spent half as much time on your social life as you do on video gamesâŠ"
Mina looks up, flashing a rare but dazzling smile. "But whereâs the fun in that?"
Chaeyoung cackles, clearly on Minaâs side. "You tell her, Mina."
Momo, eyes still half-closed, raises a finger in the air. "I support Mina."
Tzuyu gives an approving nod. "I can get behind that too."
Nayeon sighs in mock defeat, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Fine. I guess gaming is kind of cool. But you all better still bow down to your queen." She flashes her infamous bunny smile, knowing full well they never wouldâbut it doesnât matter. Sheâs the Nayeon, after all.
The group dissolves into laughter. Even with their quirks and differences, theyâre a family. Theyâve watched each other grow, change, and yet somehow, theyâre still the same.
gentle, fleeting, free, adoring, just wondering what life would be like as lovers in a normal world
a/n: self-indulgent bc nyc is a place i adore very much and i'm convinced that in my future life i belong there with my future lover xx (also title stolen from an old work of mine that was with seulgi instead)
Would we be happier in another normal life?
Mina sighs happily as she finishes up the New York Times mini crossword. Sheâs been on a roll with these ever since you landed, even sending you a screenshot during her Boucheron event.
Youâre just about to slip out of bed to grab bagels from across the street when she suddenly whines, grabbing your arm and pulling you back with a pout.
âNeedy,â you tease, sinking back into the sheets.
She scoffs, rolling her eyes playfully. âFunny coming from you. Donât you remember last night?â
âYou mean a couple of hours ago?â you reply, grinning. âI donât think I was the needy oneâyouâve left a number on me,â you say, pointing to the faint red marks on your neck.
Minaâs cheeks flush pink as she fumbles for a defense. "Well, itâs your fault," she mutters. "You sent me that picture while I was at the event."
You laugh softly. "It was literally just a good night selfie."
She groans, burying her face in the pillow. "You were in your robe, looking all cozy and good! What did you expect?"
You grin, leaning closer. "So, you admit itâyou were the needy one after all."
Mina peeks out from the pillow, her cheeks flushed as she grins mischievously. âFine, maybe I was,â she admits, her voice low and teasing. âItâs hard to control myself when my girl always looks this good.â
Her words send a rush through you, and before you can think, your lips are on hers. The kiss starts soft, but her fingers are already tangled in your hair, pulling you closer. The warmth of her mouth deepens the kiss, and soon, everything else fades away as you melt into her.
She shifts beneath you, tugging you on top of her as the kiss becomes more intense, her hands roaming over your back, making it hard to focus on anything but her touch.
When you finally pull away, breathless, your foreheads rest together, a grin spreading across your face. âI guess the bagels can wait.â
Mina laughs softly, her fingers brushing your cheek. âDefinitely worth waiting for.â
~~~
After breakfast, the two of you wandered over to Bryant Park, sipping coffee beneath the trees, watching the city hum with life.
You spent the next hour window shopping along Fifth Avenue, admiring the elegant displays without any pressure to buy. There was only so much you could bring back home, but Minaâs eyes sparkled at every storefront, and you found yourself more captivated by her excitement than anything in the windows.
Now, youâre strolling through Central Park, hand in hand, the noise of the city fading away as you walk the winding paths. The soft rustle of leaves and distant laughter blend into the air as Mina leans into you, her arm wrapped around yours.
âSo, you still want to head to DUMBO for the bridge view, right?â you ask, glancing at Mina over your sunglasses.
Her face lights up instantly. âYes! Letâs call a taxi,â she says, already reaching for her phone.
âNo way! Letâs do this rightâletâs take the subway. The real New York experience.â
Mina hesitates, her excitement shifting to uncertainty as she raises an eyebrow. âThe subway?â she repeats, a little unsure.
You give her hand a reassuring squeeze, so excited for the trip. âYes! Trust me, itâll be fun.â
She lets out a soft sigh, still unconvinced, but seeing the sparkle in your eyes, she canât help but smile. âFine,â she agrees, stepping closer. Her arm wraps around your waist, fingers lingering on your hip. âBut only because you seem so into it,â she murmurs, pressing herself against your side, her warmth seeping into you.
You chuckle, your hand sliding to her lower back, pulling her in even tighter. âI promise, you wonât regret it.â You lean in, brushing a light kiss against her cheek.
~~~
The subway car sways gently as it rumbles along, packed with commuters and tourists. You and Mina are squeezed together in a corner, her warmth pressed against your side. Around you, the chaos of the subway unfolds: someone is doing chin-ups on the railing, drawing a few amused glances, while others are asleep in their seats or lost in music blaring from their speakers.
Mina leans in closer, her voice a whisper. âTheyâre staring at us.â
You glance up and muffle a laugh. âThatâs because youâre staring at them, baby. Your sunglasses are see-through.â
Her cheeks flush with a hint of embarrassment as she quickly looks away, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. âShit! I didnât mean to,â she hushes.
You give another glance at the two people across from you and something catches your eye. You squint and notice keychains with photocards. And thatâs⊠Nayeonâs face?
"OncesâŠ" you whisper to yourself, holding on to Minaâs hand tighter.
Just before you can tell Mina that theyâre fans, she gasps and points at the window of the doors. You smile, enchanted by her reaction. Sheâs so cute as she admires the view of the city through the subway doors, as you pass over the Brooklyn Bridge. The contrast from the underground darkness to the stunning sunset hovering over the skyline is breathtaking.
"Baby, look! Itâs beautiful!" She exclaims, hand over her mouth as she shakes you a little.
You sigh and nod, pushing your worries away. "Itâs very pretty."
~~~
Later, you find yourselves sitting on a bench at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the quiet hum of the city settling around you like a soft blanket. The lights from the skyscrapers flicker in the distance, casting reflections on the calm waters.
Mina sits close, but you can sense somethingâs off. Sheâs fidgeting with her hands, her fingers twisting together in a nervous rhythm. You glance at her, about to ask whatâs on her mind, but before you can speak, she breaks the silence.
âDo you think weâd be happier in another life? A normal one?â
You frown, confused. âWhat?â
She hesitates for a second, looking down at her hands before continuing. âI just⊠I wonder what itâd be like to live a normal life. Not an idol. No eyes on us all the time.â Her voice softens, tinged with a sadness you rarely hear. âI knew those people in the subway recognized me. I could see it in their faces. And I saw how you tensed up, too.â
You shift uncomfortably, realizing she had noticed your own worry.
She sighs, her gaze drifting out over the city. âI just wonder if things would be easier, better, without the spotlight. Without everyone always watching.â
You stay quiet for a moment, letting her words sink in as the city hums in the background. The weight of what sheâs feeling lingers between you, heavy and familiar. You reach over and gently take her fidgeting hands in yours, giving them a soft squeeze.
âMina,â you say quietly, your voice steady, âI know itâs hard. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is watching. But I donât think another life would make us happier.â
She turns her head slightly, her eyes searching yours, but you continue before she can say anything.
âYouâve worked so hard to get where you are, and yeah, it comes with all this pressure, but it also brought so much joy. To you, to your fans, and to me.â You offer her a small smile. âYouâre not just an idol. Youâre you. And even though people recognize you, that doesnât mean you canât find peace or moments like this.â
Her expression softens, though the hint of doubt still lingers in her eyes.
âI know itâs not easy,â you continue, brushing a thumb across her hand, âbut I wouldnât trade this life with you for anything.â
Mina blinks, her eyes glassy as she bites her lip. She leans in, resting her head on your shoulder, her breath steadying. âI donât know what Iâd do without you,â she whispers.
âYouâll never have to find out,â you reply, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. âWeâve got each other. And no matter what, weâll find our own kind of normal.â
I love you so much.
Mina squeezes your hand back, her fidgeting finally stopping as the tension melts away.
After a few more moments of peace, you nudge her gently. âPizza?â
She lifts her head, blinking up at you before a small laugh escapes her lips. âYeah,â she says softly, a smile finally breaking through. âPizza sounds perfect.â
âAnd weâre definitely trying pineapple on it this time,â you add with a grin.
She scrunches her nose, groaning playfully. âUgh, yuck⊠Fine, baby. But only because itâs you.â
