kk so jade was born in berlin and always had a huge obsession with music, especially techno or deep house. even though she already mixed, she properly got introduced to the underground scene at the age of eighteen and it definitely had an impact on them, making them realize that that's what they actually wanted to do for the rest of their lives. the only problem was that her parents made it very clear that she had to finish university, from which she had actually dropped out a few months after her arrival; so a whole lot of faking it 'till you make it until they eventually built a name for themselves and started playing festivals + touring.
they kind of stumbled upon the apartment complex after a night out. they were in seattle for one of their sets and while returning to the hotel, thinking about the fact that she actually enjoyed the city, she saw this big building that, for some reason, just kinda struck them. the following day they passed by and signed the contract for a penthouse.

defff a pain in the ass sometimes? they have this big repulsion against all kinds of authority and it’s a repulsion they never learned how to hide and live with. for example, they had this big hatred even towards group leaders in a group project, she was def the kid refusing to do anything just because they had told her to do it and instead messed around with everyone else. they were the class clown and the school troublemaker and kind of really took pride in that, even though they ended up in detention quite often and had to sit through her parents’ lectures. to this day she still hasn’t lost this side of hers, it’s highly likely that she got arrested a few times, and each and every one of them her manager had to bail her out.
