Think about chapter 54. The fact that Rhysand confesses everything, he opens his heart and his past and gives Feyre everything. We cry, she cries, he cries, we all cry, and it creates this incredibly deep bond between them.

Person A: “How could you do this !?!”

Person B: “It was one time!” 

Person A: “I don’t know if we will heal from this” 

Person B: “I didn’t know you were listening!” 

Person A: “I’m going to shower so I can wash off the feeling of betrayal” 

Feyre: what Rhys, what’s wrong?

Rhysand: can you put on your glow for a second, I’ve lost a slipper…

Feyre: ….. other light exists Rhys.

1. He was tortured, beaten and raped for 50 years but he didn’t care - because he knew that Velaris and his family were safe.

2. Even though Feyre had hated him, he had loved her more than anything and he would go to the ends of the Earth just to keep her safe.

3. Whilst being aware that Feyre was his mate, he’d known his mate and Tamlin were going to get married. Even though it killed him, he wasn’t going to interfere because he believed that Feyre deserved that happiness.

8. The first time Feyre said “I love you” to Rhys, he cried, because he never thought he’d ever hear those words from his mate.

9. When resealing the cauldron, he knew that he was going to die, but he didn’t want Feyre to know, because she would’ve let the cauldron swallow the world wholly rather than live in a world without her mate.

10. Before Rhys died, his last words to Feyre were “I love you” (page 666 😭)

what what probably going through Rhys’s head on the summer court pleasure barge when Feyre stood up abruptly after seeing him shamelessly “seducing” Cresseida,…with her shields down, thinking about how UNHAPPY she was about the prospect of Rhys “bedding” Cresseida, Feyre wanting to “throttle” Cresseida for being the object of Rhys’s affection, how she wanted to feel loved and not lonely,…FINALLY an emotion instead of the emptiness that she has carried all up until this point.

Don’t think of Mor looking down at her own casual attire and immediately sending the boys out to distract the newcomer while she goes to her room.

Don’t think about Mor changing her outfit so she was just as dressed up as Feyre.
