its my personal opinion that if the og oblivion had never been released and instead oblivion remastered had been released this year instead, it would fucking absolutely BLOW PEOPLES BRAINS/MINDS!!! That is how good fantastic bloody amazing the game is! I am totally biased but idfc. I love oblivion remastered so so much it takes an already wonderful game, gives it a bit of spit and polish and fucking boom! Its now remade all the more accessible for new gamers who are used to a higher standard of graphic and playability quality to enjoy!
And i think its a lot to do with the modding community who kept oblivion going, who showed what we wanted in it, who slaved away to keep it alive and wonderful! I hope every oblivion modder and patcher has a wonderful life fr!
and honestly i hope the same thing happens for morrowind! I don't think remastering these games is a cop out now when it shows that it can be done so well! These games are timeless and I would rather have them new and improved and yet still having the soul and essence of the original than to have a new game which may or may not live up to our lofty expectations
