How to apply skincare in the right order
Letβs get down to business.
This is the order you would apply skincare products if you used everything,this is just an example btw so you can see where things go.You donβt need your routine to be this long lol.Just take out the steps/skincare products you donβt do and it would still be in the correct order.
Cleanse,exfoliate,tone,essence, serum,mask/sheetmask,eye cream,moisturizer,night mask, facial oil,and sunscreen if itβs daytime.
Tips
* With the toner step you could use face mist instead or apply face mist after toner. Face mist can also be sprayed after moisturizer & on the go.
* Make sure your toner has no ALCOHOL. Defeats the purpose of toner which is to help hydrate & balance your skin after cleansing.
* In the serum step is where you could also apply any treatments. I mean serum is technically a treatment too but I hope you get what I mean.
* So facemasks/sheetmasks go after serum but you can also just skip serum on a mask day. I find a mask enough.
* Night mask is another word for sleeping mask,night cream,overnight moisturizer etc. As you see above it goes after moisturizer if you were to be that extra but you can just use it in place of moisturizer.
* Like you see above facial oils go after moisturizer but if it works better for you to apply before, thatβs fine. You could also use a facial oil in place of moisturizer, you have choices is all Iβm saying.
* In the morning I would have a simple skincare routine and have a longer one at night. At night you want to make sure you give your skin more love since thatβs when it repairs itself.
