From what I could find, I saw some wall hangings I liked had no cep extras for separate recolorable frames so I made them myself. Ones with multiple frame textures have them available as recolors. A couple of them were already made by hafiseazale but I repo'd the frames to the Lady On Red frame. All except A Sim Noir have been lowered to the ground.

Repo'd to the Lady On Red frame, these had similar frames/textures and were pretty straightforward to remap, I used hafi's ceps as a base for these:

NOTE: This will be the last feature update for Cinema Secrets. I will be focusing more on my newer Cozy Home lighting mod moving forward.
Made lots of improvements to the matching the lot to the surrounding area (best used with @christaskyy's lot skirt shader) and matched the roads as best I could. This also means Cinema Secrets and Cozy Home share the same configuration for the Seasons and the Time of Day states. Only the actual lights differ in both.
KNOWN ISSUE: unfortunately, I can't get the roads for 6pm lighting to match without losing the pink sunset, so this is the best I could get the lighting to match
Added in the Light Direction files available in all lighting mods (both in regular and "world lit by fire" mode). Make sure to update your userStartup.cheat files with the updated lines in userStartup.cheat contained in the zip folder.
Fixed vacation night lighting (accidentally put in the configuration for the morning lighting. Sorry about that!)
Ported a lot of fixes from my newer Cozy Home lighting mod especially with morning and evening lighting.
Added in the light replacement for neighborhood and lot night light replacement in the 4.0 folder. Make sure to put these in your Downloads folder otherwise nights will not look right.
Changed default roomLightingType to 5
Moved the light definitions from Base Game to M&G because the lights don't look right when overlapping on top of the other
The changes to the seasons meant that the rug road pieces that come with road defaults will stop matching. This would mean road default creators will need to adjust the road texture for the rug pieces to color match with the adjusted lighting.
This shouldn’t be an issue for those on Maxis roads or road replacements that replace the floor tiles used to build the roads instead of overlaying a rug piece.
UPDATE 2: Please redownload, uninstall, then reinstall again. I fixed a few more issues, restored some of the indoor lighting configuration pre-June update

Spaik's Brick Patio Super Set Repo'd to BB's Niche
Anon request. This set was very similar to BB's Niche, the main texture was even identical, but BB's has way more recolors and add-ons (probably because it was free and T$R stuff used to be paywalled). I ran the set through the Repo Wizard and they now pull textures from BB's Niche. They all work with the quarter tile cheat and are found in the columns categories. Guids and filenames are the same

I accidentally reset the executable directory, now it's giving "Directory doesn't exist" error on Lutris...

(with Testing cheats on) If you click CTRL + left mouse to another clothing in CAS, its texture map sticks to your sim! TIL. I have a video too but to lazy to upload lol.

preview pictures explaining as to which slider does what under the cut
Slider #1: cheekbone width
Self explanatory really, makes the cheekbones wider (but not deeper, nor taller). A bit like that one maxis slider but without any brow adjustment
Slider #2: cheekbone height
Makes the cheekbones longer or shorter on the y axis
Slider #3: jawline squareness
Affects the back of the jaw, changes the width without changing the chin or cheek width (unlike the maxis equivalents)
Slider #4: Upper lip width
The name's a bit confusing, it doesn't affect the upper lip but the area immediately above the upper lip, below the nose (I did look to see if it had an official name but that search sadly didn't turn up much). It's a little hard to see in the screenshot, but it makes this area wider or narrower.
Slider #5: nose fold rotation V1
This changes the angle of the nasal folds, rotating them up and down (as I've poorly tried to demonstrate in the screenshot). V1 affects a smaller area than V2, not really affecting any polygons around the mouth
Slider #6: nose fold rotation V2
Does the same thing as V1 nose fold rotation, but affects a larger area - this one moves more polys, including some near the mouth (despite the screenshots I swear they're different!). I only intended to make one slider for this, but couldn't decide which to keep so you get both :D
Slider #7: nose length
This slider makes the nose longer and shorter on the face, but in a different way to maxis' slider for the same thing in that the whole nose is stretched, centered in the middle of the nose, not just the nose tip moving up and down. (please ignore the clipping on the brow! the furthest point on the slider was too much for this guy's face but works fine on others)
Slider #8: nose tip length
like the maxis nose length slider, but only affects the tip of the nose
Slider #9: nose bridge shape V1
Makes the top of the nose bridge narrow and the nose tip wide, or the top of the bridge wide and the tip narrow, forming a triangular shape
Slider #10: nose bridge shape V2
Like slider #9, but affects only the nose bridge and not the nose tip, making it taper inwards our outwards from the top.
Slider #11: broken nose
forms a curve on the nose bridge off to the left, or off to the right, a bit like what you might get if your sim broke their nose

phew, that's all of them! hopefully these are ones that haven't been done before (I didn't previously have any of these, anyway), and that you might find at least some of these useful :D

I am gonna cry. The freezing is replaced with crashing...I can't play 10 minutes without fcking crashing :( I am on Linux, but the freezing occurred back in Windows...
hi ! very small upload here, i'm a huge fan of these window star lights from nixnivis but most of the colours are a bit too bright for my tastes so i made this simple warm white/light yellow recolour :) i included the meshes with my download but i would recommend downloading the original version too if you don't have it so you can have the other colours!

EDIT: Small update below: ROSs should stop popping up right upon loading a lot.
The Scope of This Update
There is now a chance that burglars and repo people can visit a maximum number of 4 times in a 24 hour span in a row. That means burglaries can happen in broad daylight, and repo people can reclaim your Sims' items as they see fit.
Burglars will steal a max of 2000 simoleons (tunable) worth of items. The repo person will reclaim 1000 simoleons (tunable) worth of items with a minimum of 100 simoleons worth of items to trigger them.
There is also a ROS where your Sim can annoy a walkby (tuned at a max of 20 times), which comes by immediately after the ROS.
For the car repairs ROS, I added a check to see if there is actually a car on the lot. I had to remove the job check for the job ROS as something got messed up with the code. *shrug* I'll fix that in another update, so if your Sim is already unemployed and loses their job, disregard for now.
False returns don’t require a 24 hour (or however long you set the cool-down period) wait.
Conflicts
This mod is somehow blocked by @lazyduchess Story Progression (SP), despite having a unique GUID (0x00E1C028) but works fine loading BEFORE SP. Thank you to @cityof2morrow for originally reporting this! There shouldn’t be any other conflicts. The mod should load BEFORE: 1) story progression, 2) global overrides (visiting/go to work/hospitals/go to school/etc), 3) vehicles/phones/cars cost money, and 4) the religions mod.
Please remember to remove the older versions of this mod.

Scope of the mod: Stops Sims from yelling at you when you cancel the "Prepare" (food) action when they have a food prep tray in their hands or are in the middle of preparing food.
Quirks: if you stop the action before they place the food prep tray on the counter, they'll place the food on the floor.
Has anyone else has a freezing issue on Linux with Sims 2?
It just got worse. It is freezing my whole system now, forcing me to reset the computer. I tried to google but there aren't many posts about specifically Sims games...I had the issue with both wine and proton. The freezing was present on Windows too but I could ALT+DEL and kill the task :/ I am a baby Linux user, and I have Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.
EDIT: Happened also with a brand new documents folder...I am going to remove RPC .asi mods next. I forgot about them.
EDIT2: Removed RPC mods too from the PF folder, still happening :(
EDIT3: Removed my lighting mod Cinema Secrets by restoring the game files, nope hit again. I hate everything.
