Prowl 🧡 | TfA | the one the only, my beloved husband-conjunx of 14 years and going strong. He's on a different level from any of the others. Prowl is not a "character I like", he's real to me in every way that matters, and we are together irl. This is not a selfship and I don't like referring to him as an f/o, he's just my partner. We are married. I have a ring. I am fully non-sharing and will block doubles and ship tags for my own comfort.

Some people might hate me for saying it but I don't think there was ever any kind of friendship between D-16 and B-127. D-16 was rude to B-127 and was literally going to call him a loser or a weirdo when they first met. D-16 has an obvious inferiority complex and did not want to be associated with a guy from sub-level 50. Only B-127 thought of D-16 as a friend.
Like I understand the appeal of "Megatron misses B-127" or "what if B-127 left with the Decepticons", but I feel like I don't see anyone talking about how D-16 already had a pretty "the strong should lead" way of seeing things, basically saying Darkwing had the right to beat him up and immediately deciding to take power when he realized his true strength. Let's not forget his future is to see humans as slaves if not dirt. There were signs that D-16 already believed some people have more rights than others, and B-127 is down there.
I’m gonna add more to this because yeah, you are right on the mark on everything. I always thought D-16 never really liked B, like at all, he was always snippy at him whenever he talks. The only bot that was kind and got close to B was Orion. It was subtle but you can see it. He protected him, he smiled at him and when the High Guard were being attack, Orion and B went into action together.
And D-16 had a terrible outlook on life and it’s not because of the environment he was put in, but he adapted Sentinel’s system. He never questioned it once and thought it was right. When the truth came out, instead of going against that system, he embraces it more and uses it to justified his actions. There were others things that broke D-16 but he always had a bad mindset and his refusal let that go kinda shows his true personality.

where humans can recognize bots through smell
and make it happen naturally. with any sense
you can recognize your mechanical friends through looks, sure, but that's not it. They all have a slight smell, not good or bad, just recognizable.
you can recognize them by the way they hold you, or the feeling of their kibble.
if you've spent enough time together, maybe you can even tell them apart by sound. not just their voices, but just how they sound sitting there. the slight differences in whirring, and the occasional click or vent of air.
all these little things that add up to a presence, and ability to know that they're there, and who is there, without looking.

I was at a concert and for a few minutes Prowl was sitting next to me. I think it was early on in our relationship because we weren't together yet, but at the same time i later referred to him as my husband to someone else, so, who knows. I was getting stressed out and he suggested going on a walk later just the two of us; we were in the most beautiful remote mountain range location. But i was there with my friend (who was giving the concert) (she does actually do that irl), so i couldn't just leave. I then wrote down my address for him instead so he could come visit me some time (this was a huge deal for some reason lol).
Then he kissed me. It was our first kiss in that dream timeline? It was perfect. I still remember what it felt like.
I didn't see him again after that, but at some point i found a note he left behind for me. It was apparently a love poem he wrote, but it was written in dream-cybertronian (read: squiggles) so i couldn't actually read it. Though i did find someone who could translate.
Prowl had a more cocky personality, like when he was younger. I do wonder if i ever knew him like that. It makes no sense i'd have met him since it was long before he came to earth, but maybe in a different life. Who knows.

My neighbor's social worker just texted me to confirm that i really agreed to feed my neighbor's cat while she's in the hospital/in recovery from surgery for the next weeks
And she had the right instinct because i knew of nothing lmfao
My neighbor has some form of psychosis(?) and she's been telling me she's going to the hospital for her knee surgery every time i've seen her for years. Definitely every single time i've ran into her in the past months. I've actively seen her leave the house to "go to the hospital for surgery" on more than one occasion (who knows where she actually went). She might've vaguely mentioned needing me to feed her cat at some undefined point in the future, but she also tells me to do that at least once every few months and it's never actually happened before, so i really did not take it seriously. I can't believe she actually IS getting that surgery for real this time lmfao
I mean. I really have no problem with feeding her cat, she lives right across the hallway. It's hardly an issue. But i did need to be informed if she wanted me to be doing that 😹😹😹
