I change my mind & often. The reason why it's awkward making arrangements with others because you feel pressured into keeping to plans. Sometimes I prefer to just wing it. If I overthink arrangements then it makes me despondent.

It arrived yesterday. I’m only just getting round to opening the box. The canvas isn’t here yet. It only arrived in from France yesterday afternoon 😝 So worth the wait..

I was initially going to sit this at a window but it would spend a large chunk of time behind a closed curtain. It made more sense to sit it somewhere it can be fully displayed!

The canvas should arrive by mid week maybe. The bank holiday will stall it up no doubt. I can’t wait for this shit show to be over with. Monday is needless. People have all day Sunday to get over a hangover from the World Cup.

This would be a terrible situation for anyone planning on getting out a mortgage. A mark up like that would ruin their chances. Even many private rents run a credit check nowadays. That's why I avoided the private market all those years ago. Many landlords ask for a substantial amount of rent upfront & I always saw it as robbery.

I don't know how anyone manages to get anywhere nowadays unless they have a very safe & sizeable income. No wonder so many folks end up homeless in this country. It's a vicious circle...nowhere will accept them (private rents or other because of poor credit history/no funds/no bank account/no beneficiary) so they end up on the street & stay there, with no access to anything to improve their situation.

I came very close to ending up like that, believe me. I once had sweet fuck all to my name.

A high score only becomes important if you really want to buy a home one day. It isn't the end of your life otherwise. Even car finance accepts low scores now. That's probably the most important thing for me. I am not aiming towards anything else because I have zero interest in home ownership in this lifetime. A financial noose around anyone's neck.

And any young folks who end up on the property ladder these days, 99% of them get a help with the deposit via their parents.

I had a bizarre encounter with a member of staff in a store earlier & I could tell she was sick before she even said anything.

They do realise that a severe UTI can travel to the kidneys and make someone high risk for sepsis..right? Especially when they can barely stand upright & are sleep deprived?!

It’s something I haven’t had the misfortune of dealing with for a very long while.

The no1 rule to follow - 1. Remember to urinate straight after any penetration. Every time. No slacking.

2. Wipe front to back.

3. Stay hydrated.

The latter was pretty much 9 out of 10 the cause of any bout I ever experienced. I almost ended up in hospital during one episode because it had traveled to my kidneys. I was passing thick brown sludge when my bladder started bleeding due to the severity of the uti.. I had left it 8 days.

I would usually say a natural remedy will work (like the probiotics) but not for something that advanced. Get yourself to a doctor within the first few days of the burning to save a hospital trip. It isn’t trivial. It’s not a damn cold you can work through. The reason why I was shocked her employer made her battle through like that.

It’s also the psychological torment of it too. It isn’t the kind of affliction you can try and ignore & know it’ll get better on its own. Most of the time it doesn’t. Only antibiotics work.

After this long? I preach all of the above. You can expect me to momentarily disappear after any ‘play’ because I’m doing it for my health lol

I’m likely too honest for my own good. I choose to openly talk about certain subjects because others do not. It’s a topic capped to a doctor’s room or in their home.
