I’ll be checking this out once I’m less fatigued again. I was a year old when this happened. The Scottish news channels blew up once it broke. The only other catastrophe that created as much news coverage was the Dunblane school massacre almost 10 years later. Probably even more so, in fact…because that kind of event was unheard of in our country and still is.

I lost another 11 hours from earlier + a following five hours nap time from 8pm to 1am. I was out like a light.

The fatigue will be less once the colder weather returns. Summer is never kind, but it has been even more brutal since I developed this lame chronic fatigue affliction. Team summer sensory overload with this & you are comatose. Too many people out cutting their lawns etc. It’s a lot to bear on repeat.

We are on a countdown anyway. I go by the meteorological end of summer…the 31st of August. I will be celebrating 🎉

Why would anyone want to try and de-stigmatise living alone/doing things alone = loneliness tag? You aren’t going to change the mainstream perception.. so why bother wasting energy on it? Let them think whatever they want.

I can only speak for myself. I physically and mentally need to be alone for large portions of time. If I can’t get away from people then I will implode. I cannot do it. Solitude is the ultimate set up for some of us.

Everyone starts aggravating me after a while & I need to push away to reset. If someone tries to fight against this, in a hope they can change me somehow, well..they don’t last long in my life.

I have a very small social battery & when it depletes..don’t expect to see me for a while. This makes any relationship hard, even a family relationship. The sheer lack of understanding is frustrating all round.

They are all incredibly passive in personality. Even two of my own doctors. You’d assume people working in a field of employment that entails a heavy workload and no room for error would make them a stressy hot head….clearly not.

They were obviously raised right & came from well rounded households?

It was something I picked up at the farm last week too. The children were so easy going and kind. I genuinely haven’t encountered more calm and polite kids in all of my life.

If that is what country living creates..sign me up.

I came from a household of arguments, alcohol and my father punching doors in frustration. The amount of times he left throughout my childhood because of the fights..I can’t even count.

With what I witness first hand, you ARE a product of your environment. Come from a stressy upbringing and you turn out like that. Come from a passive household and you are sure to be passive.

I’m still ‘shedding skin’ from my childhood. The last eight years has been therapy for me. Moving away allowed me to work on myself and break free from the toxic energy that I grew up in.

But it only goes so far. You can’t change your genetics. I will always have a fiery side.

It takes a special kind of cunt to provoke all three barrels. They get the Italian, Austrian and Scot lol

But truly…do you ever wonder if those kind of easy going folk experience anger? Like…ever? Because I’m not sure they do.

Is there ever a time where they feel like smashing something during a moment of frustration? 🤔

I’m envious if they never do.

I suppose everyone has their own way of dealing with shit. It’s either constructive or destructive.

I’m planning out my next design project. I am hoping to tile my kitchen worktops & backsplash plates in a few weeks time. I will probably require about 10+ boxes..maybe more. If I buy them in two or three orders I can take them home in a trolley. I just hope the wheels don’t buckle under the weight lol

It’s working out cheaper elsewhere to add them as individual tiles vs pre boxed lots of 50 at B&Q + I can throw in some Carrara.

The countertop corner strip guards are easy to get on Amazon. Aluminium is straightforward to cut with a hacksaw.

The little lady’s vet was a guy..& um, I did have a moment. Tall, dark, mysterious ….and whatever he wanted to do to me 😈

My Austrian grandmother would be having a posthumous moment (she wanted my mother to end up with someone with a serious career..aka..a doctor, lawyer or other.

She broke that ideal..

I also kinda broke her ideal.. well, a little. I’ve been with men that have it all on that career front..but they were um..married.

Like I’ve said a billion times over. Nothing is truly off limits to me 🤔 A wedding ring isn’t a distraction…and that also applies to a wife 🤪

Ironically..I remember meeting a married couple during The Human League night (live at the SEC). The wife was feeling everything…the husband? Not so much. He was truly overwhelmed by the idea of it all.

You’d be surprised, or maybe not..over the amount of guys that get overwhelmed by such a situation.

Getting one new pet can be costly….purchasing two in quick succession, especially a certain breed = yyyyep.

Needless to say, the little lady cost more than the spicy señorita Ragdoll. The family I got her from drastically reduced the price at the last minute for the two remaining girls.

The initial price you pay for a pet is one thing, but you also have to consider the imminent veterinary bills.

Of course, as everyone knows by now..I don’t pay full price for anything & that also includes my favourite breeds. I haggle, blag….or wait very patiently for a last minute price drop. It is instilled in me to be like this.

A sinkhole has suddenly appeared next door to me. They alerted everyone yesterday lol

Emergency work is scheduled for Monday.

Apparently..it’s in the early stages & not yet at a major catastrophe-swallow you in to the bowels of the Earth-kinda level!

The little lady wasn’t well through the night. She had some sickness and diarrhoea, and a suspected mild fever, since she didn’t want to eat. I can only surmise it was a side effect of the vaccine?!

A long trek back with this again…

More offers..obviously. So much on display tonight, but not huge reductions.

I don’t think next week’s vet trip will be just as mellow as today’s. The little lady didn’t cry once nor made a fuss over her vaccination.

Miss Spicy on the other hand…uh oh. It’s like having my eldest back.

I’ve noticed the last few nights she gets short lived dry coughing episodes while she’s peak energy. I can only assume she’s disturbing hay dust imbedded in the rugs while running around & inhaling it 🤔 I think.. I’ll mention it during her appointment anyway.

I probably have residual PTSD from Caramia all those years ago?! If anything good came out of that, it taught me to never overlook the smallest issue just in case it’s something major in its early stages.

Fortunately, there’s far more they can do for kittens of the feline variety that isn’t always possible with rabbit kits.

The little lady’s first vet visit. Clean bill of health. I see they give out a free care package now. Dry food a few toys 👍

I don’t even get room in my own bed anymore. I woke up to four on it earlier, including the spicy señorita 👆

I’ll be sleeping on the floor soon enough. No worries. Cast out of the bed I paid for, in the home I pay for lol

She gets really pissed off sharing it (or me) I’ve noticed. Such feisty attitude for something so small 😮

Some pets can be like a possessive boyfriend or girlfriend. They hate sharing your attention/affection. What drama.

He’s still alive. Damn.

Get the vet in, quick. An equine vet should finish the job 💉
