Very secret

Since march, my dildo hoard has been stowed away in a corner. Accordingly, everything has lint etc on it, so it’s tub time. They really do fill it out better now than they did last time.

I had a conversation with DA about a year back on whether she’d find me making silicone slugs uncomfortable (she was briefly concerned until she saw how different my intended design was, iirc) and we concluded that our takes on the snails/slugs were different enough that no, not an issue.

My plans to take up the silicone craft got waylaid by real life (hoping to get back to it this year), and I don’t consider BD doing slugs now a looting of my slug ideas, although I’m definitely sad that if I do get around to making them in the future, BD will now have ~done slugs first~ and I might get shit for that even though my design is different than their joke item.

I have a thing for them but I can’t get behind an overpriced evident jab at smaller dildo makers (DA’s snails, possibly Slick too given the very stilted phrasing on the shop page)

I have a tendency to not throw things out unless they are decidedly trash or hold zero nostalgic value. Cardboard boxes and packing materials fall just short of registering as trash, so I lean towards keeping them in case they become useful for future packing endeavors, whether for storage or shipping.

With the size of my dildo collection came a larger box collection. I’ve been mostly just closing the boxes back down and stacking them, but that slowly took over an increasingly large corner of our living room. I’ve now finally gotten around to having enough spare energy to actually fix the messiness of our apartment and the box hoard.

Good grief, the box hoard.

Three full bags of packing peanuts, a large box of brown packing paper, a giant pile of colored crepe paper and an even bigger pile of various kinds of bubble wrap. Not to mention the actual boxes.

Gonna straighten out and fold the crepe paper for better storing, see how many of the boxes fit inside other boxes, throw out the bubble wrap and brown paper, and probably store the packing peanuts. I like packing peanuts, they’re fun.
