Fascinating to me how little Phoenix really knows about Mia at the start of AA1. He's never met the sister she's so close with, and never heard about Mia's whole family being spirit mediums and all the drama that involved. Never heard that that's specifically the reason Mia became a lawyer. It paints Mia as a deeply private person, who never spoke about herself. She gives off the vibe of a strong and successful city lady, and immediately you realize that has to be by design, because she has that vibe despite growing up on a mountain. Phoenix never questions, and only ever sees her as his unflappable mentor. He only really finds out anything about her after she's already gone.

i hate it when people call stuff in this game "theorybait" and "lorebait" thats called foreshadowing and storytelling. theres an entire storytelling genre based around "theorybait" and its called mystery
