Text: I think the term you were looking for was lazy. Yes. I’m free for dinner. I’ve uncovered a few hidden local gems.

There are just so many things that needed to be done around her new business one she was working on the name of, she was leaning towards Narragansett Light but she was wondering how bizarre and cheesy that really was. Ugh, whatever - she’ll figure it out later. hopefully. Though since the moment she landed and had a taxi drive her up, due to her car being back in Seattle, Washington, she’s been inside her new bought building ever since. She last track of time and really she was just blaming the jet lag on that but considering there was a lot of material things she needed to do to make this place more appealing she decided to get material on her story for the big new paper for this small town. 

So, she studied the map on her phone and followed it closely to get to her apartment. This was the first time she was here and damn, it was so perfect for her. Getting a little giddy - she decided to hit the showers because she had no idea how bad she actually smelled and she didn’t want to meet new people smelling horrible. She didn’t want to leave that bad of an impression. After all, it is a small town and she doesn’t need “that girl has serious BO” reputation spreading around. 

Quickly getting changed, she threw on some jeans and a t-shirt before grabbing her journal and slipping her boots on. “Hi - excuse me. My name is Novella Ivanov - I’m the new journalist and I was hoping to write about the citizens of Narragansett.” She smiled, once she found someone that didn’t just walk past her. “Is it okay if I interview you to make it a true article?”

In truth, Sebastian was lost. He’d decided to go for a walk, start to get his bearings in his new home and clear his head a little but it hadn’t really worked. Not only had he gotten lost in his own thoughts but the pain in his arm had distracted him enough that he couldn’t remember which way he’d come. Such a joke. The last thing he wanted to do was bother Elizabeth so soon after arriving, he already felt like a burden but there was no way he could stay in the big city now that the major surgeries were completed and his cast was due to come off in the next week. 

He’d been rubbing at his shoulder, readjusting his sling when a woman spoke to him, asking to interview him and he chuckled, breaking into a wide smile, grateful for the distraction, “Cool name, Novella, I’m Sebastian Jacobs but, uh, not sure if you really want to interview me because I’m new too. Only been here a couple days. Where’d ya move from?”
