Happy Spooky Season! Seattle Grace Mercy West is hosting their annual Halloween Bash!

The party is located at an event center in downtown Seattle, and costumes are REQUIRED!

There will be food, drinks ( those of the alcoholic nature and those of non-alcoholic nature ), and plenty of fun for the whole family. There might also be a little costume contest, where everyone will be able to vote for their favorite outfits of the night.

Oh.. what’s that? You’re on call that night? No worries! The party goes on for a loooong time, long enough for night shifters, on-callers, and everyone in between to have the chance to join in!

The event will begin on Friday, October 21st, and the beginning of the second part of the event will be announced in the future!

For costumes, please feel free to get as creative or keep things as simple as you’d like in terms of making a graphic! If you need help finding websites/resources for a costume, feel free to reach out to me on discord and I’m happy to help! You can post the costumes with the tag #sghqevent2 on the day that the event begins! I’ll probably throw them in a discord channel as well for easy access!

As always, the first part of the event is very laid back, therefore pre-event threads can continue through this part! Those threads will need to be either finished or paused by the time the second part of the event begins, but there will be an advanced notice to that as well.

Bio [ TW: CANCER, SPOUSE DEATH, CAR ACCIDENT ]: After leaving Seattle for the second time, Izzie decided to move to Baldwin City, Kansas. Izzie completed her residency a year late and then went on to do her fellowship. Izzie met her husband one day while she was working an extra shift in the ER and he came in with a patient. He was a paramedic who Izzie had seen around before but never thought anything of their small conversations until one day he asked izzie out on a date. The blonde wasn’t expecting anything to come out of it, but a few months later he proposed and of course, she said yes. Shortly after getting married, Izzie became pregnant with twins. A boy and a girl. She couldn’t have been happier that they were adding to their family of three already. Izzie made sure to let her stepson know that just because they were having more kids, it didn’t mean she didn’t love him just as much. A few years after their twins were born, Izzie and her husband decided they wanted to try for more kids but Izzie knew that she only had so many eggs saved from her cancer treatment. So, they decided to adopt two siblings who needed a home.
