Oh, Merlin, where to start? Let's see, well, Rabastan has been found guilty -- but, I expect you already know that. Oh, and Lucius is being followed around by aurors and it's getting on his nerves -- which is understandable, seeing as he hasn't done anything -- and Rabastan has been drinking all day and complaining about almost everything, which really shouldn't come as a surprise to you. And, uh, that's about it as far as our house goes. As you can tell, we're practically falling apart without you.

She felt herself growing tired from the constant concentration, but wasn’t willing to back off yet. “Then you have nothing to worry about, huh? Stupor!”

She set her hand on her hip, trying to fight off the fatigue of casting curses and counter-curses, sending one out after another before casting on last one. "Furnunculus!"  Sehe immediately ducks in order to avoid getting hit by one of the girl's spells.

I Need Entertainment

I’ve definitely noticed. But with Rab I can kind of understand it, I mean he’s been found guilty so he was in the wrong. But Lucius hasn’t even done anything yet he’s acting completely guilty despite the fact I know he hasn’t done it. I don’t know which is better, I’m going to kill them both if they don’t stop it.

[Absentmindedly shrugs and looks up at the ceiling, pursing her lips in a thin line.] Might I join you in that? They're both getting on my nerves -- which would be normal in any other time frame. But, the feeling is just intensified by this whole 'war' thig and... yeah. I'd really like to murder them. Both. Brutally.

Marlene avoided her hex by stepped away, but it definitely almost got to her and it just made her even more annoyed, “Colloshoo!” She hissed hoping for once her hex will get to it’s target.

She flicked her wand, causing the hex to stray from it's path. "Merlin, would you stop trying to get to me? It's obviously not working." Annoyed, Maia lifts her wand once, casting an effortless curse. "Petrificus Totalus!"

You’re very welcome. [She copies Maia’s action and sets her own glass down on the bedside table. She inwardly groans at the mention of Lucius.] Would you believe me if I said I don’t know? He’s constantly annoyed at me and we just don’t seem to be getting on that well at the minute. He’s probably on edge because of all this suspicion about the attacks and the fact he’s still being followed by aurors.

Ah, I know the feeling. [Rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest before falling back onto the silk bedding with a gentle thump, an irritated sigh escaping her lips.] Rab has been acting the same way, if you haven't noticed by now. Although, he's drinking to avoid confrontation, I suppose. Which is far better than what Lucius is doing, I think. 

She could feel the anger building up in her for not being able get to the defence of the other girl. “You Slytherins just bring out the best of us.”She spat back, poining out her wand once again.

She smirked, noticing the obvious hole in the Gryffindor's guard and quickly takes advantage of the situation by casting a simple yet effective charm. "Slugulus Eructo!" Grinning, she lowered her wand for a moment, waiting for the other girl to react.

You are a star my friend. [She takes the glass from Maia and raises it to her lips draining the glass in one.]

Why, thank you. [She takes a tentative sip from her own glass and looks at the other girl in awe for a fraction of a second before downing the glass in her head, gently setting it down on her beside table.] Hey, if you don't mind me asking... how're things with Lucius? He seems kind of... I don't know -- on edge? It's odd.

Marlene hissed at her in irritation, raising her want without a world casting hexes after each other. “Maybe I should just knock you out without a wand.”

The Slytherin rolled her eyes in annoyance and easily defended off the hexes, eventually casting the shield charm without a single word. "Merlin, you Gryffindors sure are violent." 

"With pleasure."She smirks, stepping back and pulling out her want to point at the other blonde."Engorgio Skullus!”

She rolls her eyes and ducks down for a moment while pulling her wand out, defending the charm with ease. "Y'know, you're going to have to try a little harder than that." 

"Now, this is exactly why you Slytherins are so unbareable. Arrongant, narcissistic twats. Just piss off.”
