Went on a date with the father.

My dad and I have a lot of interests in common but we barely have any time to do things together. That’s why I didn’t miss my chance when I found out Jesus Christ Superstar will have a run in Manila. We’re both fans of the musical and have watched the 70s film version countless times.

Glad to see my dad have a great time. He was almost singing along lmao. Also had dinner before heading home. Wish I could spend more date nights with the father.

I've been craving for platonic connections lately. It feels as if getting older feels a little lonelier

Nagtampo girlfriend ko kasi my dad threw a birthday party for our ampon’s daughter who turned 7 recently tapos hindi kami invited haha. The rest of the family were, pati mga tropa ng kapatid ko. Family oriented kasi si jowa kaya hindi nya ma gets bakit hindi ako affected.

The whole ampon story is crazy, too. Kaya inis na inis sya sa parents ko kasi hindi ko daw deserve ma left out sa sarili kong pamilya. Family is crazy, bruh. We all love each other anyway, haha. Hirap explain pero sanay na ko.

Pinanood namin yung Wicked For Good sa IMAX. Plan namin is sa Directors Club lang talaga kaso sold out na pagdating namin. Last full show na lang din ang available sa IMAX so we took our chances kahit medj malapit kami sa screen.

Pero grabeeeee! When Elphie belted out Fiyeroooo, I can’t help but get goosebumps and all throughout her rendition of No Good Deed, I was holding back tears kasi ang overwhelming talaga sigawan ka in 3D ni Cynthia Erivo! This divaaaaa!

I was initially drawn to this series because Kao Supassara was in it. As a Hormones stan and a batang bading at 16, I had a massive crush on her. Grabe lang, girlie did not age at all! Grabeng ganda nya pa din, help!

But also this has got to be the warmest, most wholesome GL I’ve watched so far. This scene in particular moved me to tears because wdym you can be loved like that??? Also bonus din that I’m in Interior Design so what I do is somewhat similar to the characters (Architects yung role nila dyan). Natatawa ako sa mga problems nila with design and all kasi girl, same.

Scheduled for fast track na ang finale tomorrow. The yearning for KaoJane won’t waiver until their next series hahahahaha.

Did a pobla crawl with the girlfriend.

📍Alamat Filipino Cuisine

Kicked off the night in one of my go to cocktail bars.

• Ordered Puñeta for myself. I haven't had alcohol in a while and this concoction is something that I really missed. 10/10

• Girlfriend ordered Nata and Gulaman and seemed pleased with it. Rated it a decent 8/10

• Ordered Longa fries for snacks since we plan to have dinner at a different place. Food is always good here! 9/10 because it could benefit more with a tad more spice.

📍Japonesa

A few meters walk from Alamat. This place is also one of my favorite spots.

• California Maki was a little different than what I prefer but still good. 7/10

• Salmon sushi is always a guilty pleasure. 9/10

• Tuna sashimi is also really good, I ended up eating the whole serving. Lmao. 9/10

📍Tambai Alley

Last stop is Tambai Alley. As a Tambai girl by default, I wouldn't miss a chance to bring the girlfriend here. Used to party here during my college days and cure my hangover with the pares right around the corner.

• Had Hoegaarden rosee since I only want something light. The girlfriend doesn't drink and I don't find it cool that I'm the only wasted one between the two of us lmao.

• Ordered their classic yakitori

📍Good sh*t Coffee

We were supposed to head to Kondwi but apparently they are closed on Sundays lmao so we decided to get coffee to go instead before heading home.

Overall a great date night, still have a lot of places to take the girlfriend to. Poblacion has always been one of my favorite places. From the party scene to the food trip, it never disappoints. 🤙

27.07.25 | Las Flores Greenbelt

• Tried to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday but with limited resources and time, all I was able to put together was this little signage with balloons, and dried flower. The OCD in her just had to fix everything lmao. Whatever makes her happy.

• Went to greenbelt for dinner. Food was a little less satisfactory given it's higher price point. We wanted to try Dilingers initially but they have a private event that day.

•Still had a great day with her and we went to Life4Cuts for photos. It's the second time we celebrated our birthdays together. Hoping for more in the future.

God, I'm in love with her.

Planned an out of town trip for my birthday and ended up being stuck in the resort because there was a signal no. 2 storm warning. Lmao.

Only place we were able to go to was the Panoypoy Cove which was conveniently located at the back of the resort. Island hopping to five fingers was cancelled.

Still a good trip, considering. I got to celebrate with the girlfriend, the brother, and sister with her friend.

Then had samgyup when we got back to Manila hahaha.
