Corsets should come back into fashion

They have, simply in a different way. While traditionally corsets were undergarments, the modern fashionable corset is meant as a display piece. Unfortunately many modern corsets are structured in a way that they lose many of the intended supports of a historic corset.

You're right, just. Wearing a corset as a display piece makes me feel egregiously underdressed. More naked than I think going out actually naked would make me feel. Maybe I should have phrased my post better.

Completely understandable. If you’d like a proper structural corset, I almost certainly still have your pattern block.
