"please,  sit.  it  is  for  you,  after  all."  although  he  preferred  to  compose  in  solitude  and  without  judgement,  he  did  not  mind  her  presence,  a  calm  flowing  over  him  as  he  allowed  her  into  the  small  space  he  carved  out  for  himself.  "i  could  not  sleep  myself,  so  i  thought  it  be  better  to  busy  myself  with  work."

"i know i'm the idiot, milo. i need to tell him to fuck off and be done with him for good but it's hard." the dark parts of her thoughts always seemed to come to a head whenever this happened, "who am i without him?" she asked her best friend, hoping for an honest answer.

letting out a sardonic chuckle, "maybe this is the time i finally listen to you milo," she mused sadly. whatever semblance of a love life lucia had was in complete shambles, "i don't even understand why he wants me back. i mean, it seems to me that when a person cheats on someone, they want out of the relationship," she sighed.

the  insight  harry  offered  him  made  everett  go  silent.  had  he  thought  he  needed  to  be  that  for  his  ex?  she  was  right  though,  there  was  no  way  to  be  someone's  everything.  "i  never  believed  in  that  nonsense  until  i  think  i  was  forced  to  believe  it.  then  i  put  all  my  effort  into  being  just  that  and  i  might  have  ruined  it  in  the  end."  word  spilled  out  of  him  like  vomit,  "and  that  was  a  lot  right  there,"  he  joked,  "we  can  talk  about  anything  else,  how's  that  spicy  marg?"  everett  had  done  the  one  thing  he  vowed  not  to  do:  talk  about  his  personal  life  on  his  best  friend's  wedding  day.  shrugging,  "it  is  her  wedding  day,  which  i  think  grants  her  permission  to  do  whatever  she  wants."
