What does Pyke think of Jhin, if anything.
Pyke sees Jhin as someone of littleΒ interest to him, though Pyke can respect him. The work that Jhin does is true to who he is, after all killing is something he himself can understand. What he doesnβtΒ like about Jhin is how every death happens to be some form of a show. He wholly believes that if someoneβs going to be a killer, they may as well kill for sport or for gold; thereβs no point in making a mockery of death with this so calledΒ βartβ orΒ βentertainmentβ.

Is there any place he feels safe? Where he keeps coming back to "rest" (if there's any)
Yes, there is one place and thatβs deep within the sunken ship he and his crewmates once sailed upon. THE TERRORΒ was indeed a ship, though his former crewmates paid a pretty penny to erase all accounts and documents of the shipβs existence. They then refurbished the ship and sold it to another crew, and the ship was renamed. Of course, Pyke would have known the ship from every gash and scar on the bottom, so he sunk it thinking his former crew was on it.
One or two people were, but he killed most of the rest despite them not being directly involved in his death. After the ship sunk, Pyke inhabited its wreckage as his home. When he β dies β, his body returns there in the same state it was in when he originally died. He also goes here to get awayΒ from the surface.
Why choose the wreckage of his former ship? He uses it as another way to anchor himself to this reality, to ensure he isnβt simply going crazy and to ensure he doesnβt forget why he hunts and kills. Itβs also an easy place to store his belongings, he knows its interior and exterior like the back of his hand, itβs in an area populated by sharks and other deadly creatures, itβs still in the heart of Bloodharbor, and he does love the ship even if it beings back bad memories.
β don't'cha get soggy from staying in the water like that all the time? or wait--- oh, oh, PRUNEY! aren't you all shriveled up and pruney? but then you'd get soggy after getting pruney ... geez, i don't know a lot about living underwater, but am i sure glad i'm not a soggy old knife man! can you talk to fish? oh, and can you ... β she's gonna keep asking questions. you might wanna cut her off while you have the chance, pyke!
Β Β Β Β Β Pyke wasnβt used to the persistence of others, especially ones who didnβt seem to fear him. Conversations were usually cut short, either by the screams of those who regarded him, or their sudden silence from the edge of his barber-blade. Regardless, as he hears the excited girl ramble on, Pyke stares with glowing eyes, dark circles surrounding them to emphasize just how tired he was (Β though he was uncertain if this was exhaustion or not ). β Though this was a childβ¦ and he wasnβt thatΒ cruel.
Β Β Β Β Β A hand reaches down into the waters, and with it comes a fish that he merely hands to the bubbly girl in hopes that sheβll become distracted.
Β Β Β Β Β β I ainβt oldΒ girlie, I think. Donβt matter, anβ no I canβt talk to fish. Dead men donβt get pruney, either. β
What does Pyke make of the Shadow Islers
Pyke hatesΒ them, just as any Bilgewatian would and should. The Harrowing is the one event that manages to unite Bilgewater, setting differences aside to protect everyoneβs home. Thereβs a reason why Miss Fortune managed to get Graves and TF to help her not only take care of the Harrowing, but to take care of Gangplank at the same time.
Pyke is no exception, as heβll put aside his differences and hatred to help defend Bilgewaterβs ports since he can fight in the fog without conflict. He knows the waters better than most, and he canβt permanently die unless under very particular circumstances, so heβll always regenerate if heβs killed during the fight.
But Islers have only ever given him a reason to despise them, and oh he loves to kill them when the time comes.
If Pyke learned the name of a dead person, would their name show up on his list but already crossed out or would it just not show up?
Assuming this person was one of his former crewmates, heβd write the name down justΒ in case they ended up like him: undead. Heβd be bitter that he wasnβt the one to finish the job, but it would cause him to investigate and search to be sure theyβre still dead and not walking among the living. If they are, in fact, dead, then he crosses the name out.
Bounces a stone off the water surface a honestly IMPRESSIVE amount of times.
Β Β Β Β Β He hears the plip - plopΒ of the stones hitting the water before it stops and sinks down below. It hadnβt bothered him until the stone falls and nearly interrupts his travels. A gloved hand curlsΒ around the stone and he tosses it with all his might back where it had come from: at the person who threw it.
Β Β Β Β Β β These waters ainβt for throwinβ shit, kid. GO HOME. β
Β Β Β Β Β Pykeβs voice echoes from the shimmering (Β yet murkyΒ )Β surface of the water, not quite showing himself, though he allows the water to ripple with every movement he makes as he comes a tad closer.

the video where the 2 guys take their sleeping friend and put him out in the middle of this pond is literally pyke and mf pranking tf. tf just wakes up and SCREAMS
i laugh at the thought of pyke getting so drunk with his old crew that heβs stumbled overboard countless times, as with other sailors, after a haul thatβll land them a good amount of gold krakens
