I was playing around with Scrivener and after lots of trial and error, I’ve managed to create a theme I find quite pleasing! I use Windows, so I can’t confirm if it works on Mac, but feel free to modify it as needed.
DOWNLOAD ROSE WATER THEME:Â DROPBOX (for Windows)
See how to install below!
The ZIP file includes:
-A folder with background images for the corkboard and main editor. The zip includes the .scrtheme file and a folder with background images for the corkboard and main editor. Happy writing!
-The .scrtheme file for the Rose Water theme.
-I use the font: Century Schoolbook size 10 for main editor and size 12 for the menus (you can set them by default in the Options-Appearance menu).
How to Install and Apply the Rose Water Theme
Extract the ZIP File
Right-click the Rose Water Theme.zip file and select Extract All…
Import the Theme
Open Scrivener.
Go to Window > Themes > Import Themes.
Navigate to the extracted folder, select Rose Water.scrtheme, and click Open.
Apply the Theme
Go to Window > Themes, find “Rose Water” and apply it.
Restart Scrivener.
Set the Background Images from the Images folder included:
Open Scrivener and go to File > Options > Appearance.
Set the following:
