Nowhere King, a gift for a friend, 2024
Crocheted in Bernat Velvet, Bernat Baby Velvet, Lion Brand Re-Spun (white) and Red Heart Super Saver (yellow)
Mostly self-drafted pattern, but I did use this https://www.etsy.com/listing/1629590608/tiny-elk-skull-amigurumi-crochet-pattern for help with the skull!
The eyes glow in the dark, he is large and... somewhat poseable, and he has a little pouch in his throat with a voicebox that sings his theme song :3

#crochet#centaurworld#cat's name is trouble :3#and she was less helping and more chewing on my beastie while i tried to get pictures of him#but she's cute so she gets a pass#all of the little spirals on the chest are individual strands of spirals 1-5 spirals to a chain in 3 different sizes#and even though i was very devoted to the detail of that at the time idk if i'd ever do that again tbh#i'm just glad i didn't end up going with my original idea which was crocheting around individual pieces of wire#and then curling them up into spirals that could be repositioned to hold things#because as much of a pain as sewing all those individual chains of spirals down was#i do not want to imagine what it would have took to make the grabby spirals work#small detail that literally no one but me would ever see: the eyes are suspended in the sockets of the skull#with pieces of wire so that they kind of float#but they're too small to really notice that at all i just put work into it and think it's neat lol
