Easterman's whole thing is how he is a "God"/"Father"/"Daddy " to the Reagents. He thinks he knows how to control them and even the ex-pops/Prime Assets, which is through reward. He rewards Reagents through praise, stamps for items, "freedom", etc. He tries to control Coyle with rewards as well (i.e. the Warden).

Honestly, I'm not a Coyle lore master, so I'm not quite sure how he achieves devotion exactly, probably through "protection" and the like, since he is "THE LAW", but we have seen its effects. His old home town trusted him, protected him, and would throw his bad deeds under the rug because of their devotion towards him. His ex-pops and trial victims show degrees of devotion towards him as well in ways that allow him to control them.

So when Coyle refers to himself as Daddy to the Warden, ex-pops, and the Reagents, I'm wondering if RB is also using it to emulate/counter Easterman to an extent, outside of the kinky stuff ofc. Trying to show Easterman that his way of maintaining control is the right one? Take some of the control away from Easterman in a sense? This is kinda where my analysis ends.

Recently saw some posts saying we "finally" have evidence Coyle is into dudes. "Finally?" Have you been playing the game? Coyle gave off "guy into dudes trying not to be gay" since his first trial and even in his design. There was nothing straight about his relationship with the Snitch and there certainly isn't now with the Warden. Not to mention voicelines. Guy went immediately to wondering what Franco's dick looked like. No one asked his thoughts on that, he just said it. I just thought those posts were funny. You had to be in EXTREME denial to be surprised by this. Also with the message RB was trying to send about the overarching themes about society and prison and stuff with this map there was simply no way that trial victim was gonna be a woman.

Now whether you think Coyle is straight up gay or is a bisexual/pansexual is clearly up for your interpretation and no one should be getting clowned on or hated on for that. Because it could really go either way unless RB decides to upfront about it. Guy could have extreme comphet. Just because he had three wives doesn't mean shit. OR he could just be a "where there's a hole there's a goal" kinda guy. There's Prime Time voicelines where he expresses sexual interest towards Gooseberry and Liliya. He CLEARLY was liking the teeth (or lack thereof lol) from the Warden. And he treats Reagents all the same regardless of gender in his freaky ass way as seen in all trials. Either way, Coyle's still into dudes (and upon interpretation, women too). Idk why we're acting weird about this all of a sudden...What happened to the Coyle Simps Collective?
