Spencer Agnew x Male!Reader
Itās dumb - no itās stupid. Spencer doesnāt like men, okay? Sure itās a running joke with his friends that his posts have homosexual undertones but itās not real. The shipping doesnāt mean anything, all the members of Smosh get shipped, even the married ones! Fine, maybe he watches the ship edits of him and y/n sometimes but that doesnāt mean anything! But right now Spencer is really regretting his decisions.
Darts ultimate showdown 2, it was Spencerās idea and heās really wishing he never requested it. Angela as Dart Simpson, Shayne as Dumpster Wizard, Amanda as *Krungle*, and y/n as Sabrina Dartpenter. Should be funny casting right? Wrong. Now heās faced with the guy he doesnāt have a crush on dressed in a corset, skirt, thigh high boots, and a blonde wig. Really anyone would be freaking out!
The thing is, Courtney was originally cast in this video but she ended up having to direct a different video so naturally Spencer recommended for y/n to join. He didnāt really consider the possibility of y/n dressing up as the same character as Courtney wouldāve.. Itās not like it matters though cause heās not distracted, heās just aware of whatās going on! Well whatās going on with y/n not whatās going on with anything else. Again it doesnāt matter.
When it happened, the video hadnāt even started yet. All of the casted members had just come to the set along with a mini live audience consisting of other Smosh members and crew. See when Angela, Amanda, and Shayne came in trying to hold back laughs and telling people to āprepareā it wasnāt really that unusual because everyone has ridiculous characters. Next thing he knows y/n is walking out, he hears laughing and whoopās from behind him but all heās focused on is the faint buzz that has overtaken his brain. Literally what the fuck is happening. Spencer feels sick, like genuinely fucking ill.
But thats not the present, though Spencer does still feel sick, especially when y/n looks in his general direction. Spencer is keeping track of points, okay well really Alex is keeping track of points but Spencer is the one officially calling them out. y/n keeps doing this bit that everyone keeps laughing at but Spencer doesnāt find it funny at all. He keeps swaying his hips exaggeratedly as if dancing along to one of Sabrinaās songs. It should be funny, Spencer normally thinks y/n is hilarious. Heās clearly just sick, it canāt be anything else. Maybe he just has a crush on Sabrina Carpenter or something and thatās why seeing one of his best friends dressed up as her is affecting him so bad.
Eventually itās time for a five minute break, Alexās call, everyone keeps shooting Spencer weird looks but he just locked himself in the bathroom. He feels like heās losing his mind, doing that thing they always do in the movies where they splash water on their face, just hoping to understand whatās going on in his brain. For some reason Spencer feels the need to check if he does have a crush on the real Sabrina so he pulls out his phone, quickly opening Instagram. He blankly scrolls through her page for just long enough that the realization that he feels nothing hits him. He hesitates.. then looks up y/nās account, just to check he reminds himself. He gets that same sickly feeling the moment the photos load and Spencer realizes, startlingly, that heās nearly always felt like this near y/n.
He is so fucked. Alex calls out that the break is ending and Spencer has to pull himself together as he quickly shuts off his phone. He leaves the bathroom immediately be-lining to Alex who simply sends him a knowing look and continues the video.
