Backstory: One of the Three Evil Terrors of Japan at the time before the Norisu 9 and the Mask even existed yet. Shūten-Dōji was the most Strongest One in all of the Spiritual Realm at the time. Oni species respected and look up to him, controlling even Thunder and Lightning as his source of power as he would fight even 100 enemies when in battle, and was even the most to drink alcohol that he always cares Sake around for Oni celebrations and parties, even letting Tamamo and Tengu join in on the fun with his Oni Kind.

However, things would drastically change him as he soon became power hungry and a thrust for blood, that even his own kind started to fear him the most, abusing his own powers for his own gain. he was slowly losing himself and his original purpose.

With his behavior and power becoming too much, 4 well known Samurais decided to end Shūten's reign of terror to both Human and Oni kind once and for all by letting the well known samurai himself to fight the Oni King: Minamoto no Yorimitsu.

After having such a intense and fierce battle, The Oni king's pride (he was not affected by any kings at the time) is what pushed his downfall as his own sword gets broken before Yorimitsu took that advantage and sliced his head clean off, ending his chaotic rampage and tyranny once and for all. after his defeat however, his lightning powers came out and became extremely unstable and Aggressive that its wrecking more havoc without a Host.

Because of this, the Remaining Oni's that have survived the War grabbed its remaining power and mended it into a powerful item that contained every bit of the Oni King's powers...

But now Shūten's Spirit is also residing in the Scarf, his Angry and Rage still there as he is forced to watch over the years each Human gaining the Oni Mantle, some not able to handle his power or not strong enough to do so, he see it as a mockery of his kind and thinks there will never be someone who can handle his intense power.

Until one fateful day in current day Norrisville, the sentient scarf of the Oni King's power have finally found someone completely worthy and perfect for the 'Aggressive' power and completely chosen them that even Shūten would slowly watch and understand the new person better as the New Oni Ninja...
