Our last stop was #veniceitaly, a beautiful city with a few canals, including the Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge. Today we visited the Borderline memorial. Each victim had their own cross that had been decorated by family and friends to reflect each person. A camo hat, Pepperdine cap, Red Bull drink, angel, and so on. Someone brought a small basket filled with roses for each victim. There was a picture tree. Someone brought Kleenex, water and home made cookies with a sign to "please take one." People of all ages wrote messages on the wall and sidewalk. While at Chena Hot Springs we went to the Ice Hotel with the Aurora Bar, jousting knights, the polar bear bed, and much more, before heading to Palmer and seeing Denali from the north and south in all her beauty.
