the other’s words force a loud laugh to fall from fleur’s lips, always heavily amused by how witty val could be, it was a nice change to be seeing someone that could match her banter so effortlessly. “i think it’s much more than that, but i won’t pass on the compliment.” she whispers before pecking the other’s lips gently. val’s words take her by surprise, so used to both of them playing harder to get than they actually were with each other. “i’m happy to be here, val.” she whispers against the other’s lips. “we’re getting really bad at pretending not to care.”

“i like being here, i think it’s keeping me responsible.” lee starts ”i like being in my room and knowing that you’re down the hall, coming home from the store and knowing you’re here. would you like to move in?”

rory didn’t even know why she had chosen to confess her feelings in such way, she didn’t know what she expected from the other - if she even expected anything. “i think you might have a point there.” rory says with a soft smile, allowing herself to relax and look at the other for a minute. “i know, it’s just been hard lately. you make everything easier for me, did you know?”

mina couldn’t blame her friend, she knew she had hurt the other one too many times while desperately trying to figure her own feelings out. yet, mina was hopeful that someday orla would be ready to take a chance on her again. “i know. i’ll be patient if i have to, i can be patient for you.” mina mutters. “i’m no longer seeing him, you know?” 

“of course.” sydney admits with little to no shame. it was easy to tell the other how much they cared, it came easy to them as the blonde blushed for them. “well, you’re very important to me. extra important when you blush.”

it was hard to want to be vulnerable while also being able to tell that fallon still had a lot of walls up, it was scary to think that maybe their words weren’t appreciated - even if fallon didn’t owe them that. once the blonde finally looks at them sydney can feel themselves melting, unsure of why it was still so easy for fallon to have that effect on them and desperately wanting more of it. “i really miss you too.” they admit with a small smile, their hand slowly finding fallon’s and resting on top of it - they were sure it looked awkward, but they were yet to be bold enough to take her hand. “it’s shitty that i don’t get to share my life with you. i keep having to remind myself that all its moments are only mine to keep, that i can’t share them with you.”

“sounds a lot like me.” she casually says. “is that why you keep me in your life? so you don’t have to miss your cat when you’re out of the house?” she teases with a short chuckle. as fleur watches val move closer her teasing smile slowly softens, the brunette always embarrassingly excited whenever the other kissed her. fleur follows the other’s lead with the kiss, enjoying how she could let go of control whenever she was with val - it was a welcome change from her job. “you’re such a good kisser.” she compliments the other without much thought, taking a second to catch her breath before softly kissing on val’s jawline.

fleur had always questioned her sexuality, unsure of how she felt towards other females and usually too busy to actually explore that side of herself - plus having four protective older brothers didn’t really help. since meeting olivia she had found herself questioning it more and more, how casual the other was about it leaving fleur intrigued. however, sometimes olivia’s dating stories made fleur want to stick to her simpler single life. “from what you tell me, sometimes it almost feels like the dating pool is far too small.” she confesses with a chuckle. “well, it’s pretty uneventful.” she shrugs. “i had a date but the guy was so incredibly nervous the entire time - i even asked to go home earlier just to put him out of his misery!”
