Day 1 of 365 - The hero’s journey begins, even Orpheus’ ascension from hell is sometimes read as one of determination as much as love. I cannot understand the minds of others, only my own. Therefore, this must be my spyglass and measuring stick for all things. Here we go, step lightly feet - hands open wide!

Shattered to atoms!

We must forget — you and I! You see, I can’t do it alone. I have tried in vain to forget, not look back, and to, instead, look only forward toward the infinite wonders the future holds. So, help me, won’t you? Take my hand. Smile and assure me of a resounding success, not a pyrrhic one. Run into the ocean alongside me. Bite into the ripest, sweetest fruit of hope and offer me a taste. I guess I want to feel like a stranger to myself for a while.
