"discourse" is in quotations because i don't consider it discourse btw. that was a hate campaign that impacted people's lives and continues to have an impact on people to this day and i think reducing it down to just internet discourse, something that generally isn't considered serious, is another form of aphobia that surrounds the whole thing. people just don't take aspecs and aspec issues seriously and once you start noticing it you never stop
