i got slapped today with the realization that i haven't drawn for myself in months. i barely even look at art anymore if it's not for monetary gain or studying, which is just depressing. may and june sucked ass as far as my personal life goes, so i'm really going to try to be better about taking care of myself where i can, and that includes finding passion in drawing again... which i guess means coming here more often?

it's funny -- i've been off and on this hellsite for almost 15 years, and no matter how long i'm gone, it really does feel like a safe haven every time i come back. the fyp always feels accurate. the art and content are always top tier. and the familiarity of it all ofc helps as well... idk it just all kind of helps me feel a little better & more inspired?
