My fiancé is the best person I’ve ever met. When we first got together over a year ago, he always got me flowers and wrote me cute notes, drew hearts on the foggy shower mirror for me to find later, and never forgot to text me good morning and good night before we moved in together. This man would drive to go get me chicken nuggets at 2am just because I said I wanted some. Everyone was always telling me “the honeymoon phase is the best” and how that wouldn’t last. Let me tell you guys, if you think you won’t mind someone who appreciates and respects you, you’re wrong. To this day he still does all of those things and more. We brought our newborn home from the hospital the other day, and I came home to the most adorable card (I cried reading it), flowers and a gallon of my favorite ice cream. I just wanted to make a post about how much I love him. I used to use tumblr to write about negativity in my life, and I’m so lucky to not feel the way I used to about love. I couldn’t be happier to get to start a family with my best friend in the universe.
