favorite thing about them - my shallow response is that I love his accent so much. There's just something about that Scottish brogue that's so lovely. Seriously, though, I love how he tries to teach his doctors, he can be encouraging and patient and there's always a lesson to be learned about how they approach patients or procedures. I also am totally in love by how taken he is with Claire and the way he treats her with respect at work and values her experience, but is so sweet and soft with her when they're alone. least favorite thing about them - I am rather annoyed that he's not fighting for himself in these last few eps. I'm sure there's going to be some reveal as to why he's doing that, but it's been frustrating me to no end. favorite line - “I know you wanted some time to figure things out on your own, Claire. I just wanted to let you know... I'd follow you anywhere, even the bloody desert with the great unwashed." Because he's SO FUCKING SINCERE and also, gawd damn if he decides to go to Burning Man with her, he must really love her, lmao. brOTP - I love Jed and Bash but also Jed and Wendy - and we really, really need more scenes between those two together! ...but also Jed and Mags. Ugh, just Jed and his whole crew.  OTP - Claire bear. Only Claire. nOTP - please tell me there aren't people that slash him with Novak because that would be mindboggling. random headcanon - I'm stealing this from this fic writer who has posted the most incredible stories on my OTP, but Jed is a total germaphobe, which is ironic as hell given his profession. Claire tries to get him to ride public transportation but he's so uncomfortable because people.touch.EVERYTHING.
