One moment more: Harry Styles one shot

Inspired by Mindy smiths, one moment more

Authors note: this isn’t my best so bare with me. The perspectives are kinda weird but I hope you can figure it out anyways feed back would be great, enjoy!

READ THIS:  this is kinda of weird but i suggest you listen to the song really low so the words of it don’t over power the writing. sometimes it distracts people so keep it low :)

The cold winter air brisked through the open window piercing our skins, turning our cheeks pink,but we didn’t care.

The roaring wind kicked in, carrying the now brittle autumn leaves into our presence, but we didn’t care.

The distant calls and begs of us to hurry up filled up are ears, much to our dismay, but we didn’t care.

We were together in that moment, and that’s all we cared about.

”..I don’t want you to go”

"I know, neither do I" 

Harry pulled me in tight, tucking his head in the crook of my neck. He  placed a few soft kiss on my collarbone, then moving upward to my neck, now finally reaching  my lips. We stared at each other for a couple of seconds, neither one of us wanting to break our gaze. I hope he saw what he was doing to me. I hoped he looked into my eyes and saw the burning love that I had for him, or the deep desire that I felt whenever he was away. Or maybe if he looked a little deeper, he would see the pain that I felt, knowing I wouldn’t be able to be in his arms, whenever I needed to. 

"My fair lady, would you do me the honor of dancing with me."

You giggled, he was so cheesy like this, but you couldn’t deny the fact that it was something you loved about him.

"There is no way, I’m going to dance with you" you teased. " sorry sir but you’re going to have to find a new dance partner." 

"But you’re my dance partner!" He grinned.

His silly grin instantly turned into a seductive smile. He quickly wrapped his arm around your waist like a snake then gracefully pulled you in, closing all gaps between you. 

"Plus you don’t get a choice. You’re dancing with me." 

He hummed a peaceful tune, as you both slowly swayed back and forth, enjoying each others presence. Every now and then he would tighten his grip on you, he knew it always made you feel more safe and secure when he did. He kissed your forehead and mummered out the words "I love you" He didn’t even need an answer back, he knew it by the way you nuzzled into his chest, the way you you smiled at him, the way your eyes lite up whenever he held you. And he knew he loved you by the way he looked into your eyes and saw forever.

Harry lowered his head back down to my ear “I must admit, I have no idea what I’m doing.” You leaned into his chest, grasping onto his shirt,giggling like a child "but its still worth a shot right?" he smirked.

and with that he spinned you out of his arms,then slowly twirled you around by his finger, then quickly spun you back in. 

"I don’t know styles your moves are pretty swell" you grinned

"Well then wait for this!" he said cheekily 

Without a warning Harry tried to dip you down like in one of those dancing shows you force him to watch with you. But instead he ended up making both of you fall right onto the ground.

So you both just stayed like that, holding onto each other for dear life, just laughing your hearts out.

I wanted that moment to last forever.

We slowly parted, his stare burning into my glossy eyes. His grip around my waist tightened as he leaned in for one final kiss. He tilted his head and flashed me a reassuring smile, he seemed to be trying to convince himself more than me. I never wanted it to end. 

He started to trudge to the door, every step he took broke your heart just a little bit more. He turned to you one last them, giving you a goofy smile. Then he reached out to the doorknob and proceeded to leave.

And just like that he was gone.

You sat on the edge of the bed wondering what to do next. Your heart was aching, you yearned for Harry’s touch. You couldn’t believe that a boy could ever have this effect on you.You smiled remembering your late mom’s last words to you.

"You’re gonna’ have to open up that heart of yours someday you know. This boy…I like him, he makes you happy,something I wish I could of done…so please do me a favor and don’t let him go." 

"…and how do I do that?"

"Always ask for one moment more."

You wiped away the tears, trying to focus on something other than Harry, but you just couldn’t.

"what am I doing here.." you whispered to yourself

Before you fully processed it you were running after him. You spotted his head of curls almost immediately. You started to run faster and faster. You needed him way more then you thought. Finally You caught up and quickly grabbed his arm, turning him around. You looked at him, pleading with your eyes, begging him to stay.
