in honor of my completion of the show I will do two posts about my comfort characters from BNHA and AOT helping you through the dark times after finishing it first up we have my hero academia these are very self indulgent btw in this is how I reacted to it in the most simple way possible 🏃‍♀️💨

Warnings: spoilers for banana fish, heavy sobbing, and cursing because that’s a normal thing on this blog now😁

Tamaki:

Tamaki has a 6th sense when it comes to you so when he heard you cheering for some reason he didn’t think much of it until he heard you stop and a loud thump in the floor. Running to your dorm he saw you on the floor, tears running down your face as you quietly started to say things under your breath. “Y-yn are you-“ before he could even finish his sentence you broke out into a mix of screams, sobs, and heavy breathing like you just watched someone die. He zipped to your side giving you a hug and trying to help you catch breath so that you could explain to him what happened. After a couple of minutes he left your side to bring you a glass of water and some tissues. Once you got them and started to catch your breath he asked “what happened”. You took a deep breath before explaining. Though some of your words were incoherent he could understand that some charcter named “ash” finally realised he should be happy but as soon as he realised that he was killed. At this point he was still hugging you and rubbing circles into your back without even knowing any of the characters or why ash had only suddenly felt this way he could tell that it was almost a bittersweet ending. Eiji thought ash was ok though he wasn’t but ash died knowing that he had someone in the world who wanted to save him and care for him. That’s how tamaki saw it and he was completely correct. He was very smart and from a small amount of information he can make a big picture. He took you to your bed seeing that you seemed to tire yourself out and let you rest as he went to the kitchen to make you some of your favorite comfort snack. Yes he was shy and might not have been able to do this level of comforting if it was anyone else.

Mina:

I think Mina watched it WITH YOU. You both were screaming at the screen. And everyone was disturbed from their former good nights sleep. She clutched into you and she yelled into your shoulder “THAT WAS SO CRUEL HOW COULD THEY DO THAT TO US” nodding as you were both just entangled together being sobbing messes together. Finally Mr.Aizawa was standing at the door and sent Mina back to her room. There were kids crowded behind him because they thought someone died... But after 20 minutes of you being forced to calm yourself down you got a text from Mina. It read “are you still upset” of course you replied saying yes. You knew that nothing could stop minas energetic self so she was able to get over sad things more quickly but you weren’t. She spent the rest of the night sending memes and pictures of the two of you until you were able to smile and send some back. Now this has happened before so you had a meme battle. Mina won sadly but you snagged all of the ones she sent to use in the future. You couldn’t forget about the show but you were just a little less broken now🤷‍♀️

Shouto:

Shouto had no idea what was going on he received a voice memo of you babbling about some show in the middle of the night and decided she check on you at your dorm. After breifly knocking on your door he was sucked inside your embrace. He could feel your uneven breaths as you tried to speak. He could understand the words “ash” “happy” and “bullshit” and some curse word hes never even heard of to describe someone named la* yeah we don’t say his name here. Not really understanding what to do he just let you continue babbling as he stroked your back whilst you laid on his chest. His heartbeat slowly made you drowsy and you shortly after that fell asleep. Moving you off him he kissed your forehead and went back to his room. Now he didn’t just go to sleep after that but he did research on the show it didn’t take him long to learn the plot and what happened to this ash that you cared so much about. One thing he remembered you saying was that you wanted to give him a million hugs. Dont question why shouto now has “how to hug your favorite character” in his search history. He wasn’t stupid but he did know that there must’ve been some way for you to get that feel. And that’s how he discovered body pillows. looking past all the lewd ones he finally found one on eBay. It was expensive but not lewd in the slightest and using his endeavors trusty credit card he bought it and in the coming week it arrived. It was a random present from your boyfriend but you accepted it eagerly. Once you saw it you were at near tears when shouto said “you can hug him now right?” I made him so precious in this omg.
