Half a year passed before it all took a turn for the worse.

Half a year passed before anyone noticed anything.

Half a year passed before it was too late to do anything.

No one noticed how Summer’s hands seemed shaky and unsteady. They didn’t notice how his memory was foggy when it came to something that happened the previous day. They didn’t notice how his legs seemed shaky when he tried to stand up.

They didn’t notice when he’d hide the oil he coughed up.

They only noticed when one day heading to the Daycare, Summer collapsed on the floor, coughing up oil, barely able to stand up on his own.

Solar was the first to find him. He panicked. He didn’t know what to do. There was so much oil. So much… He brought Summer to Parts N Services, the only place Solar could think of when it came to fixing him.

There was nothing wrong with him physically, but his code. His code was failing somehow. Whether the code was simply buggy or a virus was destroying it or what was unclear. The thing that was clear, however, was that Solar couldn’t reverse it. No one could.

Summer swore that he was alright. Even if he was actively falling apart he chose to comfort his friend. Even if he doesn’t know how much longer until he will be finally dead.

After a week or so, thanks to it being worked on overtime and being built from spare parts lying around, it was done.

Solar had his own body now, perfectly built, and waiting for him. But the hard part was transferring him from Summer’s body to his own. Solar was very worried about all that could go wrong with the transfer, but Summer reassured him that it’d all be okay.

On the day marked for the Transfer, the Daycare was closed down just in case it all went wrong. Their two bodies were hooked up and ready to go, with Winter on standby just in case.

And everything turns out alright. Solar’s in his own body. Summer’s still perfectly fine and beaming at him. Everything’s alright.

Everything will stay alright.

The beginning of Solar’s story obviously starts with his Sun and Moon, or as I’ve nicknamed them, Summer and Winter.

Their relationship is a bit different than the Sun and Moon you guys all know about, and that’s because Winter is actually willing to admit his flaws and apologize for what he’s done to Summer.

Just kidding! Winters also a horrible person!!

The actual reason is that Summer actually had closer connections to the others in the Pizzaplex, and was able to recognize Winters abuse and doesn’t put up with it anymore.

Either way, after their separation, Winter still left his KillCode in Summer, and the Eclipse born from it, which we all know and love as Solar, was on the collision course to end up just like the Eclipse we know and barely tolerate.

But that was until he accidentally pulled Summer into his mindscape with him…

Almost immediately after Sun leaves Moon’s lab and heads back to the DayCare, and he looks through some of Moon’s files on the computers.

One of them should give a clear enough instruction for him to figure out how to enter his own mind. Simple enough, and something Moon did when they shared a body to….

Sun manages to, temporarily, get himself stuck in his mindscape with Eclipse. He doesn’t entirely know what to expect, but… maybe Eclipse is just scared?

He’s immediately proven wrong when Eclipse just laughs in his face. I mean why would Sun get himself trapped in here? Just to have a chat? Really? Eclipse cannot believe that he’s just that stupid.

But… there is a prime opportunity here…

Apologizing for just laughing in Sun’s face, Eclipse introduces himself with a very fake smile plastered on his face. And he offers him a partnership of sorts.

“Moon has done horrible things to both of us, so why don’t you help me. It’s really simple. You let me take your place, and then when I get the star and my own body you can have yours back.”

Eclipse is an opportunist, and Sun is one of the closest to Moon. But sadly for him, and luckily for Sun, the connection gave out before he could give a answer.

But that only puts it off for so long.

The rabbit is probably sun, meanwhile the sly fox and snake are either moon and eclipse, idk which is which in this case (I'm dumb okay 💔)

Barely a week passes before Sun comes to Moon’s lab. He was acting off. He seemed stiffer, colder, and just not like Sun at all.

Moon immediately guesses that it’s Actually Eclipse, and he immediately drops the facade. Moon simply asks what he’s even thinking, going directly towards him, somewhere where he has his tools, especially after Moon had threatened him.

And Eclipse explains why. He comes with a deal. A deal that’s best for the both of them.

“You can give me the Star, and I’ll leave you and Sun alone, mostly, and out of harms way… or… You don’t, and I kill Sun. Make sure that there is nothing left of him to bring back.”

He lies about the Star not even being finished, and while extremely suspicious, Eclipse accepts his answer. He says that he will be back in two weeks, and by then Moon better have an answer. And then Eclipse allows Sun to take back control.

Overhearing Moon muttering about the Star, and what to do if Eclipse’s threat is serious, Sun asks what’s going on.

Moon refuses to give an answer, saying that all it’d do would be put him in harms way. That he’s better off not knowing, as if he didn’t promise to include him barely even a week ago.
