I just learnt via a Pokémon shadow catagory video that Mimikyu is classed as the snake like one, how! But then I thought “oh that’s cute, Lux can be a snake like parent Giratina.” And then looked up Giratina’s shape, they are a jelly fish shape!?! What?! I get because the legs but what!?! Pokémon shapes make no goddamn sense.

At the very least Nox/Marshadow is what you’d expect and a little guy with legs.

Lmao yeah I saw something about that on Bulbapedia lately! Was checking out Mimikyu's page for something and in the trivia section it mentioned that it's the only fairy type with the serpentine body shape. Makes you wonder what it's hiding under that rag...

Also I just looked it up now to confirm Giratina's shape, and the jellyfish is only for Altered Forme! You have to dig into the page for "List of Pokémon by shape" for Origin Forme but it IS classified as serpentine, just like Mimikyu. So she really does take after her mother <3
