Wowie another art blog!

As a very small artist with a following in the low double digits, this update basically ruins any chance of me ever knowing if my work is reaching people. I have two posts that to this day still accrue a note or two every day - likely from peoples for you pages and stuff- and it makes me happy knowing people see it and not only did they like it, they CONTINUE to like it!!! And I can pinpoint the exact moments both those posts started getting notes - both when LARGER blogs reblogged them and they got exposed to a much larger audience, and seeing all the tags and stuff from there was so so nice. If I could only see the engagement that came directly from my own original post, they'd have MAYBE 20-50 notes tops. I am not on peoples dashboards. I've been planning things to start posting more often and actuallt draw more, and now I don't even know if I want to. I'm on mobile and haven't gotten the update yet, but even so, the fact that there's a fact that this is even a thing that exists is so discouraging. I want to sell my art online, I want to share my creations, I want to know if people LIKE them, and I want to see what people have to say about them!! It doesn't matter how popular a certain reblog thread may get - because I will never know. This was the ONLY site I posted my art on because of the community aspect, it was the only site I could maybe get some reach without having to grind for clout and followers or whatever, it's the only site where I can open requests to draw goofy things when I'm bored. Instagram, Twitter, tiktok etc are all extremely hostile to me in various different ways, and now tumblr is doing it too.
