If making brallie endgame was never the goal, why oh why did they have to kill off grace? We got a whole season of watching her and brandon as a lovely couple only to have her killed in the last minute when she could’ve just as easily survived to be brandon’s happy ending.
Instead, they decided to make brandon appear with some random girl in the last three episodes only to give false hope to brallie shippers who would’ve probably been fine with them ending up only as best friends had it been done right. It’s ok if the writers didn’t want to make them endgame. What’s not ok is focusing the whole special finale on them, making it look like they’re about to be together again, only to give up on that idea at the last second. What a wasted opportunity to give us the closure we all deserved. It’s so frustrating how the writers honestly thought it’d be a good idea to rehash all these brallie feelings again for no reason at all other than ship baiting us for views yet again.
If they seriously wanted to introduce some random girl for brandon to marry in the last three episodes, she should’ve been the greatest girl to ever exist. There should not have been any doubts about whether or not she was his soulmate. I really don’t get what they tried to achieve by introducing her this way at this point in the story.
Brandon deserved better. Callie deserved better. We deserved better.
