Awe thanks so much for the kind words! I saw the artwork you mentioned, very fun! Just keep drawing, drawing, drawing! Draw from life! You will improve so much faster as you get that muscle memory when it comes to posing. Get a pen and a sketchbook and draw people and animals. Don't worry what the drawing looks like, just try to get the overall gesture and tilt in the pose.Happy Holidays! :)
Hereās a storyboard test I took for Star vs the Forces of Evil! I was given a premise and had to come up with the dialogue and gags and such. It was a lot of fun!
This is a really cute storyboard test from Star vs. The pacing is great, as Star and Marcoās interactions.

Storyboard tests are sent out so studios can see if an artist is the right fit for their show. Kinda like an artist version of a job app or resume in a sense. If that makes any sense hahahaha. Tests help when deciding who to pick for employment.

Hey, I love your art so much! It's always so cuteļ¼ļ¼¾āļ¼¾ļ¼What program do you use for your animation and art to get it like that?
Aw! Oh my gosh thank you so much! I got the biggest smile reading this! For those little animation GIFs I used Adobe Flash, but I absolutely love Toonboom Harmony. I animated with that a lot when I was still in school, itās a bit pricey but Iām hoping to get it one day. Iād recommend Flash if you are just starting. For my art, I draw in Adobe Photoshop and I use a lot of Kyle Websterās brushes. Some of his brushes are for free and others you can purchase. You can find his brushes here: https://gumroad.com/kyletwebster#For storyboarding, I use Toonboom Storyboard Pro. I love it to pieces. A lot of the time I just do a lot of experimenting and sketching. Which is my answer toĀ āget it like thatā. No program is gonna help you improve, you just gotta break out that pencil and paper and draw like crazy! I try to draw a couple hours a day if i can. I drew traditionally up until my sophomore year of college. I had never touched Photoshop or any of the other software I listed above. I was actually against digital software for a bit cause I struggled to switch over XD. But now I love it, and Iām still learning new things! Thatās the great thing about art, you are always learning!Ā Also, donāt ever be discouraged by other peopleās work. (Iām still trying to do this myself, itās HARD not to compare your work to others.) But if itās an artist you admire, or you have a friend and you admire their work, study how they draw. Also, DRAW FROM LIFE. Your art will definitely benefit from it!Hope this helps!
