Gigi keeping her promise in s2 of The L Word: Gen Q

Dani made Gigi swoon when they were hanging out at Dani’s apartment, and Dani says Gigi is so easy to talk to. Gigi tries to cover up her hurt over the fact that this side of herself has often been under-appreciated by other people. To cover up this hurt she laughs and says not everyone agrees with Dani. Dani immediately says "fuck 'em!", because anyone who doesn't appreciate the effort that Gigi puts in to build emotional connection is not worth her time. Then you see Gigi unable to tear her eyes off Dani and just watches her tenderly as Dani walks across the room. Gigi is so obviously falling for Dani in that moment, like she's acknowledging to herself that Dani is special
