With a box of freshly baked cookies in her hands, Stella hurried up the walkway to the Ireland’s home, knocking on the door and peering through the window to smile and wave once Sapphire headed towards her.  She was excited, it had been way too long since she’d spent time with her godson and his sister, so she was looking forward to catching up with all of them.

Her next words took him by surprise, however, and the hand on her head stilled.  She thought they should go to couples counseling?  Yeah, they’d had their ups and downs but he didn’t think any of them were serious enough to warrant that.  ”Really Sapph?  You think we need to see a shrink?” he asked, clearly confused, but not dismissing her idea in the least bit.

"I know it sounds stupid to you but we've had some really big issues that couples normally wouldn't go through for years. Albeit, all of them was my fault." She took a deep breath. "I've been going twice a week for about 2 months now and it really helps. I know you've got Mikey to talk about and stuff but..." she shrugged. "I don't know. Just try one session with me. Please? If you don't like it, you don't have to go again." She promised.

Though they had no idea what was going on, the babies were laughing and clapping and proving just how perfect they actually were.  Laughing himself, he moved his hand to the side of Sapphire’s face and smoothed her hair back.  ”Shhh baby, chill for a second, catch your breath,” he told her, half serious.  ”Thank you,” he told her a moment later, closing the distance between them and kissing her softly, wanting to show her just how much he loved her, and how excited he actually was.

Sapphire picked up his hand and played with it. "Am I...you know...doing a good job as a mother and a wife?" She asked shyly, staring at him. "Because I can't bring another child into this world if I'm not." She mumbled, running a hand over her stomach and sighing. It was a constant fear of hers that she was doing something wrong, when usually she was, and that reminded her about something else she wanted to talk to him about. "Oh! And...um, babe. I know that we've only been married a year and a few months but I think...maybe we should do some counseling? I just don't think we should have so many problems."

When they were settled, he walked over to Sapphire and glanced at the tests in her hand, then looked up at her with a raised eyebrow.  ”Lets find out babe,” he said calmly.  He knew this was stressful, not because she was scared of being pregnant, because she’d kind of made it clear that she wasn’t, but if she wasn’t pregnant, there could potentially be something going on with her that had made her miss her period, and that was scary.

So she flipped them over and saw two plus signs and one minus sign. "Majority rules." She mumbled before a grin broke out onto her face. "Majority rules, I'm pregnant!" She said excitedly, hopping into his arms and grinning as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Baby, we're having another Ireland! It's finally happening." She whispered to him, grinning and tucking her face into the crook of his neck. "Oh God, I need to set up appointments and stuff. I wonder how many weeks along I am. Wow, I'm so excited. This is so exciting!" She rambled.

Nate was excited himself.  He wanted more kids.  Three more, to be exact, but he hadn’t wanted to push Sapphire.  They were still young, and while in the future they would be glad that they’d started their family early based on being young enough to actually enjoy watching their kids grow up, he didn’t want her to feel like the only value she had was as a baby making machine for him.  He smiled softly at her once they were upstairs.  ”Do you want us to come in with you?” he offered.

"Please God, let me be pregnant." She whispered before she even realized the words were coming out of her mouth. She sat on the toilet thinking about all the ways this could possibly go before she even opened the box. And 30 minutes later, it was time for the moment of truth. She sighed and picked up all three before walking out to find her husband again. "Moment of truth?" She asked, standing in the doorway of their bedroom as she stared at him nervously.
