not to make anything abt gen v but watching the testaments (aka the handmaid's tale spin off show) truly making the "this is what gen v existed in the first place" kind of feeling resurfacing. just like in the handmaid's tale (the mother/main show) that tells about the women were free before the gilead taking over, the boys is abt people who are already debuted and experienced in the business of supes, and all that. gen v and the testaments are the ones who grew up in that system, trying to win their way out of these competitive and rigid world world of gillead/supes. you got to see these college kids w different kind of powers than you usually not see in the main show, different dynamic in the main gang, , etc. bcs for some reasons waayyy too many ppl back when gen v cancellation was announced saying "oH bUt wHaT gEn V iS gOnNa bE aBOuT WhEn tHe bOyS eNdEd?" like be so fr rn

i really wished we coulved had shuriri show like the falcon and the winter soldier...like i know we have ironheart and hopefully if theres ever season 2 we gonna get shuri there as well but we need to see them team up more and focused on them this time. like thatd the least they could do knowing that wakanda forever's original run time was supposed to be 4 hours long and its mostly focused on shuri-riri bonding in talokan and they cut it off
