I can't believe it's almost over. While there has been so many stories that drove me mad. I love these characters and this show so much. I went back and forth about saying anything, which kind of caused me to stop updating with my thoughts as I watched. I tried to watch this show years ago, but I just wasn't into period dramas, and I didn't get far. This time, though, I had a reason to really give it another shot. One, I love and am obsessed with period drama's, two i love the Gilded Age. But the most important reason. was that this is well was my best friend's comfort show. She loved the Bates, and I remember her telling me all about the movies. She loved how Bates was with Anna after finding out about her assault. I was scared it would be too hard. I've found it hard losing her. It will be two years this November. I can't play Fortnite or Sims, things we both enjoyed. But I needed to connect to her, and I'm so glad I took the plunge. This show has become my comfort show. I love Mary, The Bates, Violet, the Christmas Specials, and Matthew. I think I may rewatch it very soon after I finish.

I don't get to share this with her, and I'm gutted that I will see the last movie she never got to see. But I'm also so happy about the people I met while losing my mind over this show.
